Dalembert is garbage.

For the season, Dalembert is averaging 5.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots in 28 contests.

5.3 POINTS? 6.3 REBOUNDS? 1.5 BLOCKED SHOTS?
Sounds more like motumbo numbers.

I don't want to see dalembert's name mentioned ever again. HE SUCKS.

For comparison:
Nazr is averaging 12/9/1.2
Kurt Thomas is averaging: 11.7/9.6/1.0

Shut your mouth about Dalembert...he's Garbage.

He's a great prospect who I would take in a heart beat. Philly is kind of screwed, either they trade him for low value or they watch another team overpay him this offseason. I wouldn't be shocked if he had a Dampier type career where he never really developed.

We got enough prospects. Let's try to actually field the same team for 2 straight years. What exactly is he known for? How did his name ever come up? He's garbage.

Atleast TT as won an award. Dalembert has won the bench.

If we're not talking about bonafide stars, I think any trade that involves a project is stupid. Kwame Brown? That kid is a dope. He's basically a younger Mohammed...what more potential does he have? Atleast Nazr has TWO NCAA championships under his belt.

I love watching these knicks, win or lose.

We should only trade non contributors. Penny, Vin and H20.

TT was putting up atleast 12 - 15 ppg before he got injured...atleast we know what to expect from him. I can't say the same for Dalemb-overrated!

Wait, I'm wrong, he's not overrated...ONLY ON ULTIMATE KNICKS IS HE OVERRATED. On other lesser known websites (Yahoo, espn) he's rated as GARBAGE.

Lock this thread so nobody mentions this chumps name again.

We know what to expect from Tim? He's been the biggest disappointment of the entire season. If they could DEPEND on him for 14 ppg (his career #s) on good shooting, fine. How many games has he KILLED them this year by shooting 3-15?

Are you comparing Dalembert (a starter) to J Oneal's buried on the bench numbers in Portland? You're kidding me right? No, Seriously, you're comparing those two? Let me say it again:

He is garbage? uve gotta be kidding me, did u watch him at the end of last season at least once? Dalembert is young and O'Brien doesnt play him enough, last nite he had 24 pts and 16 rbs as well as i think like 4 blks. he is 6-11 and is a great athlete who actually defends, which nazr just doesnt do. there is so much potential in him its scary, down the stretch last year he was averaging 4 blks, a game!! as well as i think rnd 12 and 12. u cant just look at numbers, nazr is solid but he doesnt hav huge impacts on a game, dalemdert at his best more than can, and dont get me started on kurt thomas. nxt time b4 u judge a player take the time 2 actually know something bout them, there r words like potential, and defense, which u apparantly dont care 2 pay attention 2.

Still puts up better numbers than Dalembert.

Haven't seen any convincing arguments other than "I love that guy"

Can someone point out a break out game? Like, why is he considered so good again? Can he play defense...oh yeah, 1.5 blocks a gain...that's .3 blocks more than Nazr. Yeah, you're right, let's trade both KT and Nazr for this failure.

OH, I didn't know we were going by the end of LAST SEASON. What was TT putting up at the end of last season? Don't know? Let me tell you, 5 boards and 15 ppg. Still better then samual garbage man.

snap out of it and pay attention. If he can't succeed along side iverson, he most definitely can't succeed along side Marbs.

giv me a break dude, wat ex is so good bout nazr and kurt? dalembert has had more than a few good games this season, like i said in his LAST game he had 24 pts 16 rbs and 4 blks, woudnt u say that good, nazr neva puts all those up 2gether. theres a reason y so many gm's like him and y the sixers rnt rushing 2 accept the offers their getting. go get a dictionary and look up the word potential, then get bak 2 me.

I have to apologize to NYKfan1...he was right, dalembert was putting up numbers on a LOTTERY BOUND TEAM THAT LOST THEIR LAST 4 GAMES.

Oh, I must have missed those games.

For every game you can tell me that dalembert was an impact, I can point out TWO EACH for KT and Nazr.

So, stop watching seton hall games and remember, this is the pros, and garbarge time stats make you a garbage time player.

Has he had a game saving block? Has he hit a game winning shot? Has he done ANYTHING? Oh yeah ,I forgot, he has the same numbers as a starter and Jermaine O'Neil had as the number three option off the bench in Portland.

You're right, he's should be traded for not just KT, but we should throw in Nazr.

Shut up.

Nazr
Jan 19 (@ TOR) - 17 rebounds, 16 points.
Jan 1st v. Nets 13 rebounds, 18 points, 2 blocks
December 22 v. boston, 18 boards, 22 points
Dec 14th v. nets, 8 blocks
dec. 10 v. washington, 11 boards, 20 points

Once again, you are right, Nazr NEVER puts those numbers together.

Did the sixers win that game with those AWESOME Stats?

Potential is a Laydenism.

lol, dude, can i ask u a question, r u just going off numbers or hav u actually watchd him start a game in the last 2 years, i know i hav more than once, but r u just basing this on numbers, cause thats the only defense u hav, cause ur wrong here. he playd off the bench early on 4 marc jackson, then he began 2 start and has had numerous games with stats similar 2 those, u hav 2 look at a players ability and potential future when juding them, not the stats on nba.com, thats not ex how a gm woud do it ya know. he has made an impact on games he has started, try actually watching one, he mite impress u. and try 2 get ur info rite from now on if u dont mind ok

dalembert's game log:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3534/gamelog

4 games with double digit scoring (out of 28)
4 games with double digit boards (out of 28)
For the season 91 Personal Fouls, 45 blocks.

Truly game changing.

I remember games Nazr has WON on his own merits...can't say the same for dalem-garbage. But you're right, trade BOTH KT and Nazr for him.

last year when he got starters minutes in Phili's last 20 games he averaged 12 points, 12 rebs and 4.5 blocks in 35 minutes. Nazr or KT has never had a stretch like that in their whole career. Dalembert is 6'11 with a 7'4 wingspan. He's got physical tools nobody on our roster has and he's performed at a high level for an exended period of time.
