Tomorrow night will show you all Marburry's true color...He will come out and set a tone. Herb is smart enough to exploit whatever Marburry can offer in a night like tomorrows.....I am confident that we will get a W versus Phoneix... We will need to push the upcourt, and our homecrowd will be there to support us....Look for Crawf to have an excellent game, and look for Marburry to get 25/10 out of that game.....Herb will make it a point to dump the ball inside to Nazr and Sweetney...Perhaps Vinny may get some playing time now with Herb as our coach....

you're right, the knicks have a chance if the suns come in complacent and too ****y, but I don't think it will happen. I think they're mad too that they had a 6 game losing streak and will look to gather up more wins

I'll say, Knicks win in OT, 125-121.
Marbury 40 points, 10 assists
Crawford, 27 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists
Ariza 18 points, 4 steals, 4 rebounds
Sweetney 11 points, 14 rebounds

well the Knicks have shown that they can beat anybody..you never know with this team so we'll see. right now i'm still down about the lost to the bucks but it was only Herb's first game
Yeah, but expect Amer to have like a million points. Sweets needs to be in the game and play heavy minutes. Is Marion gonna guard him? He'll foul out or Sweets will have 20 points. If Amare guards him he will get in foul trouble. If they double him Nazr should score. I would look for Nazzy and Sweets to be a big part of our game plan.

Steph will put up some nice numbers I am sure, but what will Craw do?
If Steph, Craw & Sweets play well, we should win. What about Ariza and Kurt 'Sky' Thomas? I hope KT stays on the bench for long periods of time, he can't guard Marion.

BTW I read that article its the usual, but it was interesting what steph was saying about Amare and him leaving teams:
heir lineup, with Stoudemire playing out of position at center, is young, athletic and dangerous. Marbury, who is usually loath to talk about his former teams, is impressed. But he has no ill feelings that the Suns took off after he left, just as the Nets did after he was traded to Phoenix.

"It's not frustrating at all, because the times when I was there, the main guys had gotten hurt," he said. "Amare got hurt, Shawn got hurt. Kenyon Martin got hurt, Keith Van Horn got hurt."

Actually, Marbury is rather enjoying Stoudemire's breakout season. Two years ago, as his teammate, Marbury watched Stoudemire dominate the superstar Kevin Garnett, Marbury's former teammate in Minnesota. Marbury declared that Stoudemire was a better player.

"When I said that I thought he was going to be better than Kevin Garnett, you guys wanted to take my head off," Marbury said Monday. "This is his third year. Kevin Garnett is the best all-around player. Amare Stoudemire, coming out of high school, he's definitely putting his mark down to be one of the best players to play the game."

it may happen,(him being better than Garnett) but I can't see it from where I'm sittin. Amare can't shoot and has a weak post game. He'd also have to become a better passer and shot blocker. He would also have to learn to go left. That is so many areas of the game that he would have to improve significantly at. I can't see him doing it all ever. I can see him being one of the best though. But what do I know, I couldn't see him being this good to begin with, and would have never drafted him. I wanted Nene.

But like I had been saying all along, the style that they play masks his weaknesses. He can't really get it done in the half court as he showed during their losing streak, he really struggled.

That coach and Nash make sure Amare gets the ball where he can score which is anywhere within 12 feet of the room if they are running. And their pick and roll is pretty sick. It makes ours look retarded. Trade Kurt.

Knicks are too good an offensive team to put up only 93pts

I'd say:
Suns: 215
Knicks 103

Hey, I'm sorry that this is out of place, but I did not want to start a new thread over it and wasn't sure where I should ask. Do any of you guys have a link to a page listing all of the current Knicks contracts (maybe even the entire NBA's)? Thanks!

Marbury will have his way w/ Nash... he cant defend his own shadow, but we get killed in the paint, on the boards and when we crowd the middle Pho will knock down their 3's.

On a side note its good to see how far we are from teams like this. Then again maybe we win the next 8. It hurts to think about it... I'm just going to watch and pray Herb screams at this guards to feed Sweetney in the post.

I wish we would start Sweetney.

One thing I have to say Nash does better than Marbs is run the break. Though, of course, Amare is the fastest big in the league and runs the floor better than most guards. If Isiah ever assembles a team of grey hounds like the Suns have, I wonder if Marbs would run it right?

Marbs doesn't seem to run the break well. There's been quite a few times in recent games where Trevor is at the front of the pack and doesn't get a pass. He's missed Sweetney a few times too. Sigh. I still like Marbs, but did anyone notice that Jamal looked like the better PG in the game against the Rockets. The problem with making Marbs a SG is he doesn't move very well (or much at all) without the ball.

Kurt thomas is killing them.

message to herb, maybe a zone isn't the way to go on a team that is has 4 players that can bang a 3.

KT's value will be crazy after this game.

Sweets: get stoudamire in foul trouble as I predicted and make me look like a genius.
