if you don't mind, could you make your thread titles more precise so when i am combing thru titles i don't have to click on a topic just to see what it is about

yes is such a blanket statement, wouldn't you agree that this could have been posted in the game thread

I will be more specific next time. I just wanted to make sure that everyone sees that Ariza is starting and therefore watches the game. Now back to the game thread!

yeah, probably a direct mandate from IT. building up Ariza this year - either to deal him or make him better and more attractive for the next coach coming in

I think it's simply because he's our team's best SF right now and we need our best players to be starting

Ariza is starting because TT is hurt again. Check Frank Isola's column from Saturday in the Daily News. TT reinjured his calf. Don't read too much into Ariza starting. He is not ready for prime time. Sorry.
