Anybody noticed how lethargic VC has played sinced he slacked his way out of Toronto.

We could have had another all-star along with Marbury.
Isn't that what we needed?

Injuries are behind him it seems. VC has been playing like the VC of old, some of the dunks and hang time shots were vintage VC last night.

Vince Carter almost registered his first triple-double of the season Wednesday. He ended up with 33 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, and two steals in New Jersey's 96-90 win over the Bucks.

Carter has responded so well to the trade that brought him to New Jersey.

Since becoming a Net he is averaging 22.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.4 assists a game.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I agree that Marbury could use another All Star to play with - who couldnt? But I disagree that VC was the answer. We need an All Star at the 4 or 5 position who can dominate. Then we will see what this team can do.

Yea we did need low post threat , but so did NJ.

What VC brings to the table demands just as much attention as a low post threat agree?

Hve you watched him play lately? This guy has been off da chain!

I am not going to address nonsense postas like you anymore, I'm a NBA fan and to think we could have had him instead of Craw blows my mind. The guy is a draw by himself, he makes players around him better(look at jersey).

I wasn't a fan of his until I found out that we could have got him for the inexperienced JC I was estatic.

Toronto wanted Craw along with JYD , we wanted to give up GARBAGE TO GET HIM. TT and Penny arggg

Steph can definitely use another all-star to play with, an all-star big man that is. If we already had an all-star big man when we got him, he would have probably been able to back up his "best PG in the league claim." In fact, he wouldn't have had to because it would have been accepted as the truth. An all-star at the 2 and 3 is unnecessary.

you can't have it both ways playa.

First you argue that Isiah should have kept FWill and NOT traded for Marbury, and waited to trade for bigs.

Now you argue the exact opposite.

pick a side a stick with it. And yes, get off the VC obsession.

they were 5-8 w/ Vince before 3 wins against Atl, Bos and the Bucks. Lets not get too excited.

No, Vince isnt even close to being the same as having a post presence. He's not making guys around him better, please. Does Marbury need an all star? Sure... but a frount court player. Not an overhyped guard that looks great against the Hawks.

Vince isn't a real all-star. He's a phony all-star who makes the team simply because he gets a lot votes because he used to be a good dunker. If he wasn't voted on by the fans, he wouldn't even make the team

beautifully said! Elton Brand would be perfect...

is NJ winning a championship anytime soon? if they do its because Nenad Krstic becomes the next Pau Gasol. Not because of Vince!

Vince Carter is on par with Antoine Walker, good talents who don't bring intangibles to their teams. You can have them.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Everybody who just post a head of me are just haterz, Martin you 're going back to F.Williams when I'm TALKING ABOUT SOMEONE PLAYING WITH MARBURY.

Most of you said that NJ had the worst frontline in the League and then they went out and got VC and they outplayed the knicks.

The impact he brings unquestionably makes his teammates better. I see a lot of bias here . L8ta for y'all

Listen here jackass the nets gave up their frontline and you were one of the fools who said NJ should have got frontline help.

Look and see how bad VC make oppossing frontlines look and get back with me.

I'm NOT OBSSSESSED WITH VC , it's just that I had a better talent evaluation than most of you when it came between VC and JC.

Going between your legs and doing a cross over dribble(jc) doesn't cause a double team and free up your teammates.

Playa says a lot of stupid things, but I think on this one people are jumping on him based on the rep.

How can you aruge that Vince would be better for us then Craw and the H2Gimp?

Its not even a qeustion, so to Playa, why bother asking obvious things?
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

without a doubt, star could've used vc. it's only natural star and vc could feed off each other's game. then again, vc's real challenge is to confront the knicks by way of brooklyn. the headliner at caesar's palace reads "for the undisputed champion baller in the tri-state area".....but then again, why did vc make a promise to thorn

VC can play. But I would question a guy that not only tanks but comes out and admits it. With the possible exception of Kobe and Shaq (and their were two of them and they are extreme talent) most teams need superstars who are leaders. VC has disqualified from that catagory.

On the otherhand unless Crawford really improves he's not taking us any place either.
