the soft fluffy snow that you can dust off went away- replaced with the wet, heavy stuff.

I live on Long Island and it's even bad here. I am certainly glad I did all my shoveling tonight (At about 10:00) b/c if I didn't, then I'd have to shovel about 24" of snow on the sidewalks, and who knows what the driveway would look like after being plowed. But instead, I will hopefully just have to repeat about the same amount of work I did tonight, which is fine.

the wind will blow all that snow right back where you shoveled it from...you're better off waiting for it to stop tomorrow morning & shoveling then.

I am aware of that, and I am aware that it's gonna continue to snow more a lot more. But I would rather shovel a decent amount twice, as opposed to shoveling a giant amount once, and possibly hurting my back, even though I already have a couple of back injuries as it is.
