it's lenny's fault - well ok, looks like he's out marbury's selfish and a loser - so far, according to his stats, it's true isiah is a wolf in sheep's clothing - 17-22 after adding $100 mil
well regardless of the $$$'s spent, i think we're on the right track. before he took over, we had 3 players with any type of potential. frank, sweets, and lampe.
now we have: marbury, who's really good crawford, who's on the upswing of his career sweetney, who's developing into something real nice ariza, who looks to be the steal of the 2nd round
so within one year, despite adding all that payroll, which even if he didn't we'd still be over the cap til 06/07 mind you, he upgraded the talent in the backcourt considerably.
so now, it's time to upgrade the frontcourt.
i don't think we're that bad. the record indicates otherwise. but we're playing hard and we're almost there. watching a team like the suns, man, the difference is one player. you see nash run the pick and roll and guess what, his man ROLLS. we have kurt with his pick and wait for the passback and the jumper.
we're not far away from taking the next step. recordwise, we've taken a step back but i think we can add a couple of pieces this summer using the draft, expiring deals, and the MLE to transform our frontcourt.
is it kool-aid? possibly. but i don't think i'm farfetched in what i'm saying. the defense stinks but i think adding two defensive players changes it completely. 3 games with last second baskets. the difference between 17-22 and 20-19. ZERO production from tim. ZERO. this was not foreseen by anybody. something happened and nobody knows what. even the undercheiving tim for his entire career wasn't this bad. gimpy h20. alot of things unforeseen which is the difference between 22-17 and on our way to our "expectations" for this season.
upgrade backcourt - check upgrade frontcourt - this summer
patience. it's been preached before and i'm preaching it again.
