I think if Allan has to sut it down again, he will be looking at an adult decision to retire. He may need to shut it down all season and do what he has to do to give it one last try

Players at his age with his lack of athleticism to begin with just don't recover from injuries bad enough to require microfracture surgery. It's just a matter of time before he retires. Or he might be "unofficially retired" like Jamal Mashburn has been.

he should've had the surgery then sit out the year. now just sitting out a year will not do any good because the problem wasnt fixed
