i think he has a chance to be a franchise NBA all-star 5 who can also flip to the 4. Ill be the first one to say he wasnt that good last year, he looked robotic and slow--but Ive watched him twice this year-once against Arizona[where he absolutely destroyed Frye] and once against UNLV[where he showed great all-around game]. hes going to be a number 1 pick, so i dont think there is much to talk about, i hardly think we will get him.

BRIGGS, i usually agree w/you about college hoops, but i had to go back and check the stats on that one. i saw that game too, and he and frye put up pretty similar numbers.

also, i do like what little i've seen of rudy gay. what type of player is he? (comparison)

Stats don't always tell the story, he killed channing frye in the post, if they didnt triple team him they were going to lose the game. channing frye had a lot of garbage baskets rather than post movements for scores. Two different things.


Rudy gay is just scratching the surface, the only thing is he has a very passive personality and needs to get stronger. When people say hakim warwick=seasn marion--ah no. But this kid is something in that region or will be iMHO.

but again, we are talking top 5 picks and probably top 3 picks and were not going to have those. there is no doubt in my mind that Andrew Bogut is the number 1 post player in the nation as a *5* and probably a future franchise NBa C.
