i'm pretty resolved to the fact that kurt can only net us a SG/SF player. i would love a kurt for ruben straight up which helps everybody but here's another option:

according to chad ford:

And that Memphis' Bonzi Wells remains highly available, with the Grizzlies hoping to acquire some size in return for the stretch run. ...

he makes $7.7 mil with a team option for $8 next season.
kurt+bruno for bonzi?

Bonzi is good, sure, but do we really need ANOTHER guard? Unless we're getting rid of TT, I'm somewhat against trades that continue to clutter our backcourt. I'm more than happy to get rid of KT, but I'd rather use him in a trade that nets us a young big man (Lampe, Darko, Zarko, Skita, Kwame, etc...).
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

you do realize the Grizzlies are offering Bonzi in trades for actual good players? Kurt will have to be a dump for a first rounder or part of a package for Rose/Marshall or Webber or Walker.

That's the other part. Nobody is giving up Bonzi for KT, without at least a first rounder. :P

Bonzai is a low character kind of guy. He got dumped in Memphis.

He is an unrestrited free agent this year. Memphis likly does not want to resign him. If he had a long term bad deal, then we might help them.

A scenario like that can happen when Penny and TT are in expiring mode.

Bonzi is good but he's a black hole. I think he's more a 3 than a 2. He like playing closer to the rim and he's not tall but he's a legit 225-230.

Mike Miller on the other hand... that guy's a baller. I would move KT/Ariza for Mike anyday and you have your starting 3 for the next 10 year. Explosive, tough, athletic, team first... he's dirty.

You better hope to get a young big through the draft.....No one from the East would want to trade a promissing big man to Isiah....
