How much longer? We, the fans have been waiting so patiently for something good to happen, when will enough be enough? Our front-court is worst than ever. Early on, Nazr showed that he could play in this league, but slowly but surely, Lenny found a way to stay away from this kid. Instead, he continues to allow Kurt Thomas to take 15 to 17 shots per game. Our best young talent is not being played properly. Sweetney should be playing equal amount of playing minutes as Kurt, but that is not the case. Defensively, we are amongst the worst teams in the league, but Lenny continues to say that we are getting better and better.

When will it be Isiah, when? Relieve us from watching this miserable team lose over and over again, outcoached by every rookie coaches in this league.......For the love of N.Y. please do something....

What the hell you want him to do? Dont you think if he was able to make a trade to better the team he would have done it? You sound like the type of fan that is never happy. relax lets stay put with this team and coach until summer.

Dido,

You sound like you read a lot of comic books!

"Please (Spiderman, Superman, Batman, etc) help us! Save us from Evil!"

You know, the team may just suck! And if you want short term fix, then we will remain this way forever!

Isiah could spin this as a good time to do some youthful movment!

I can live with losing while the young guys develop.

Just no more losers! No more Pennies, NO more TT's and No Jaelen Rose.

No Worn CWebb whose best days are past!

exactly... use the MLE for guys like Swift or Hunter. Move KT for any expiring deal, even if we dont get a pick back and get a couple late #1s to fill out the end of the bench. Keep TT/Penny around in case some team is having a firesale next year and if nothing happens let them walk into the sunset.

Get more young guys and some tough athletic bigs to go with Marbury, Sweetney, Crawford and Ariza. JYD gets to stick around. Nazr = tradebait. KT, Penny, TT, Moochie, Baker are all gone.

Brewer and Sundov I'm not high on, but taking 1 year shots on guys in their 20s isnt bad. Look at Brad Miller and Rafer Alston. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

in hindsight, it looks like lenny's hiring was a panic move. i was willing to let chaney coach out the season but i guess either isiah wanted to get rid of anything layden or he legitimately didn't like what was going on in practices. i'm not saying lenny is a bad hire b/c he does do alot of teaching but it seems that it was a panic move after those dolts ran with the "FRATELLO IS HEAD COACH" story.

we went the way of west. we put our dime on marbury thomas nazr and crawford, we spent a whole lot of money--more money than has EVER been spent in nba basketball in one year acquiring players, dolan open the strings and isiah brought the guys he thought could win into the house. if we didnt win, we would be in trouble, quite posibly for a LONG time. in hindsight, the mcdyess acquisition was more conservative and intelligent than the Marbury trade. While we shouldve just gone the draft route in both cases, I really believe that if you are going to spend so much money, you better bring in a MCDYESS type player. We did get virtually two number 1 picks with Mcdyess, but as usual, the Knicks havent executed well per their history. I still don't understand how laydumb could pass on Boozer where we picked, no matter how many PF we had, but to bad.

Isiah has fancied himself on street ballers, fancy pants players. We have names, we have some great plays, but its not a team that can win, much like the Rangers. I try to think what the difference is between Seattle and NY--to see if next year we can try to get to that level--they barely changed, yet have become a tough team. They dont have a good C, they dont have a good true starting 4, but they have a team that gang tackles rebounds. they have a variety of skill players that is under-rated with very high character--they care.

Not like TT who says* i only play for myself* We have to many TT Penny's even Marbury's because I believe he is a pure me first guy. We don't have the same skill level as Seattle at the end of the day, we dont have the toughness they have,etc.. At the end of the day, they are better shooters drivers rebounders ballhandlers-they are better at every aspect of the game and EVERY piece of their bnch counts. There is no Jamison Brewer Norris or Sundov on that team. the one *me* player they have is James, who is used sparingly, yet effetively and the coach has been a meastro.

I want to build a team. I want a coherent plan to put us back into contention for 10-12 years. No one can guarantee a championship an i dont ask for that. What i ask for, is if we are willing to spend so much money, if were willing to go the extra miles, then its time to do it the right way. I know Detroit has a lot of castoffs put together, but they were blue collar tough guys, not fancy pants players. Dumars brought in tough guys, isiah brought in patsies

and thats the truth.

Wilkens was a panic move, but blame the NYC papers on that one, he also might have been the best guy out there. Fratello is not a coach who would work with Marbury.

I agree we need to be patient and not give away Penny for Jalen's contract. PATIENCE, people. Wait for the summer. I would also say this team should tank for a lotto pick.

Ok... TT aside what patsies did he bring in? Your killing me... you have ZERO patience. Its been one year, and Maybe Marbury isnt the answer but he sure is hell is a tradable commoditity. Ariza isnt tough? Sweetney isnt tough? JYD isnt tough? KT isnt what we need but patsie isnt a word I would describe him.

The only value TT/KVH has to other teams is their expiring contracts next year, but Nazr has real value, nobody cares about Doleac.

Didnt Isiah say his first goal was to get younger, more athletic and aquire more valuable pieces??

Is he not in position to add 3 or 4 more young core rotation players AND let $30mm come off the books next year?

How can you talk about the building through the draft when you cant be patient with Sweetney?

From the get go I did believe that the hiring of Lenny was a mistake. I thought that there were other coaches out there who could have helped our squad, but Isiah made the decision to go with a legendary name. As for the players that we have around, I thought and still believe that we have enough talents to go a long way. I have no respect for Houston nor Kurt's game, and both of them are still proving that we will not be a good team until they both are gone from our team. Two mistakes that Isiah made and I am very sure that he will fix: Lenny and the extension to Kurt. He should have either traded him or allow his contract to expire. Panic move? after 1 year, I will not judge Isiah yet. It takes approximately 4 years to build a championship squad...

Lenny was a bad hiring period and "THOSE IN THE KNOW" knew that from the giddy up.

Marbury was good fit for marketing purposes, but he would never fit the roster we had.

Then zeke went and picked up a chucker named jamal and all hell broke loose.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I feel your pain brother. I'm glad someone is as annoyed as i am to see KT getting all those touches from 15ft out.

Kt is hitting them on most nights but lately most nights the Knicks lose.

My thing i if Lenny is fired the roster will still be the same. I think Lenny is trying to use what has been working. Thing is teams have caught up and have attacked the Knicks accordingly.

The Knicks need more talent at the 4-5. KT and Timmy even if they were just subtracted for nothing would be a plus.

I wish the Knicks could see Sweetney play KT's minutes on a consistant basis. I wonder what would happen.

God, this is a mass bridge-jump.

Crawford has the tools to be an explosive scorer. He has to hone his game, and recognize where his faults lie.. to round out his game. He has to give up the bad shots and play some D. Unlike past years I think he has grown up enough. We'll see.

Marbury is not the "me-first" player he was in Minny. The team, especially without Jamal, has no second scoring option. I think Stephon is getting a bad rap, but he continues to be a team player.. despite the crap around him.

Nazr is a nice complementary player, a decent 3rd/4th option. Thomas was supposed to be the second/third option. Too bad he's the talented baby he is... Maybe we can get Keith back?

Agreed, we need role players (defense and shot blocking) and a second scoring option. Moving up in the Draft and dealing some expiring contracts may yield these. We aren't going anywhere this year.. right now isn't the time to panic though, we need those contracts.

If just one change happens, I will be happy. Because I know that any coach with good sense can come in and reorganize our players. Kurt should be a bench player, and that is it. Houston for the moment can still start, but his minutes have to be reduced. Marb, Houston, JYD, Sweetney, Nazr should be our starting five. Isiah, please relieve us from our misery. I don't know if I will see tomorrow or next season. The sooner you can fix this problem is the better. I am dying to see my Knicks as a true competitive team again..........

You guys are so funny. This team is actually BETTER than I thought it would be at this point. So, I'm actually enjoying the games.

Remember this, and I say it every year, THE TEAM WILL NOT COMPETE FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP UNTIL THE FAT ALCOHOLIC OWNER SELLS IT TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!!!

Dolan and his family are corporate poison. Everything they touch turns to a big burnt pile of mookie stinks!
