In spite of losing 7 of 8, we're still tied for 1st place in our division.

The amusing part is that the Knicks could potentially have a record only good enough for 9th seed, yet still make it in the playoffs if they win their division. Unlikely, but true.

So... anyway... our team is a mess, but that's been clear for a while. I do believe that even with Mr. "NBA League passss!" we're still more or less where we were last year-- and the year before. Injuries are part of the game, but we really haven't seen any signs that this team is anything better than a .500 team.

Where is our upside?

We should step back and approach this season with a little less drama, what are we in danger of missing out on? An embarassing 1st round sweep? I'll pass, give me the lottery pick.

And if Marbury will continue to suck, we'll just trade him like every other team that had him before.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
