no picks, no nothing. just kurt for ruben. kurt has one more year on the deal but portland has dmiles entrenched at the 3 and will probably let SAR walk.

Then they'll have another PF. KT/Abdur-Rahim/Randolph.. 4 if you include Theo Ratliff.

I don't think this trade benefits either team.

enough about ruben. he's not exactly young, he's not the best teammate, and he's not THAT good of a defender. Kobe stopper? pssh

SAR is gone after this season so they could use a backup PF/C for next year and after.

and exactly, ruben isn't young, but he's a better fit for us now than kurt. him and ariza at the 3 for the next 2-3 years is solid.

i agree, if we can get a #1 for kurt, fine, but it's hard for me to find a team to give up a #1 for kurt.

it does do one thing for them... gets rid of Patterson the nanny raper and bad community guy for a guy that reads books to kids. KT may be a knuckle head but he doesnt get in fist fights with teammates. I love the trade. Start Sweetney, run the post offense through him and add a player dedicated to physical play and defense that can defend any 2 or 3 in the league

Matter of fact it was attempted rape with patterson
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

thats Mr. Homer to you. I can always tell when your posts are original by how bad the grammer is.

KT's incident was barely public, while Patterson's was right in the middle of all the other fights and drug busts the Blazers have had. People dont think of KT as a wife beater around the league. Patterson is still lumped in with the Jail Blazers image of the last few years.

patterson is overrated and a team cancer. we dontt need one of those.

let's make some room for JYD and ariza.

trade KT for the future. expiring contract with a draft pick, even a low one would do the deal.

We need help for next season.
