I was very optimistic this season about our team, but as the season progresses, all of that optimism is being flushed down the drain. Our young talents are just what we needed, but we need something else to help them get to where they really need to go. We need help, and we need it fast. I don't know what it is going to take to bring somebody to really drive our team like Memphis is doing right now, but we have to find a way to make it happen.

I will no longer suggest anything, until Isiah does something.

The last thing I want to do is make a move out of desperation. I would rather endure this stretch then make a move like the rumored Penny for Rose deal.
Overall, I still like the position this franchise is in. Young guys become a big part of the team, more shots for Zeke to draft, expiring contracts that can help us in the near future. Just keep staring at the light at the end of the tunnel.
If we do something, have it be something along the lines of replacing Kurt with Sweetney in the starting lineup. After that play with .1 seconds left, Lenny has me puzzled. Even I may be up to giving Lenny the boot.

Teams have started to see us as soft as blue cheese.

Everyone is getting in their licks on the wounded Knicks. After the Hornets upset them at the Garden last Tuesday, ex-Knick Lee Nailon said New Orleans, which has the league's worst record, "has more talent" and plays "harder."

Bulls center Eddy Curry, after Saturday's last-second win, called the Knick interior "soft." "From the comments (the Bulls) made as far as our inside is soft, that's going to give us some fuel," Marbury said. "If they felt that way, that's what they're supposed to say, but they have to come do it again."

And they did now what
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

it's time to RIDE IT OUT...

that's all we can do. no panic trades or moves. just ride it out. sometimes the best course of action is no course of action. unless we're moving kurt or nazr for a #1, then i suggest not making any moves until the offseason.

it's tough, especially when expectations are not being met but we have to be patient.

I will not mind losing if guys like Kurt Thomas and Timmy Thomas are not part of our squad. I strongly believe that losing while our youths are getting the experience is the way to go. I like Sweetney, and I do believe that he is 100 times better than Kurt is....

isiah has made great strives with this ball club.

if you stop looking at the negatives and focus on the positive then you would see that

We really need to go on a losing spree for our players, coach, and front office to wakeup and see the light. I still believe that with proper moves we can still make it deep into the playoffs this season. I just want our ball club to lose four in a row, that is all. With four in a row, it will be imperative for Lenny or Isiah to make a move......

someone please answer this question...

Why is it that Mike Sweetney and Mohame are only allowed to shoot the ball about 7 times when Kurt and Crawff are in the double digits?????? If you look at the stats, those two are really known for taking good percentage shots......

this is the MAJOR flaw with the offense. everyone has always been asking for a post player. well we have one but don't utilize it. maybe lenny, marbury, the other guards just don't have confidence in sweetney yet. it's possible but i would forcefeed him in the post all day. good things happen when the offense goes through him. his problems are foul trouble. he'll lose the weight but he needs to stay out on the floor. he got a lot of minutes today and it looks like they're going to him more. this has to continue.

i can't stand relying on that f'in jumper by kurt. nazr tries hard but he has hands of stone. he's good for dunking really. his post game is tough.

craw just needs to learn. it'll take time with him...

the expectations are ledgitimate. when you are paying that much money, you have to get something in return....especially from such a talented squad.....the one problem that Isiah will be face with is this, Fratello is doing very well in Memphis, and the crowd is also taking notes of that.....that team is playing defense and winning games, unlike our Knicks...Could Chuck Daily come out of retirememnt????

Things are not going to improve untill we get a decent coach.

And its looking like Thomas is to dumb to realize Lenny is garbage. So really it comes down to how long Thomas will remain the GM.

I think he will last for about 2-3 more years.

Essentially till 2008 or 2009 season. So thats when you should expect the Knicks to have a shot at some respect.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
