47 might be a tad low, you know we have just lost to Nets Hornets and Bulls at home and if you want to look at it funny, we could be considered to be in 10th place in the conference. Would you care for some red ruby punch?

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

bad stretch. 1-7 in the last 8. the team is playing real bad. luckily we're still ONLY 2 games under. tough tough tough part of the schedule coming up at the end of the month but as of right now, EVERY game is tough. there's a real danger that the "losing" culture may be permeating throughout the team.

but time will tell.

nazr's stock is dropping, kurt is still where it's always been.

the best thing that can probably happen is that we dump kurt or nazr at the break for a pick (kurt for diop/wagner and #1 - please), play sweets alot in the 2nd half. miss the playoffs and get into the lottery. that's the best that can happen for the long run.

only if Sweetney becomes the dominating post player you promised he would be before we drafted him

honestly, I have no problem with the way we played the last couple of games. The Bulls made good runs but it wasnt because of lack of effort on our part.

No... I said regardless of injuries the Knicks would win 45 games and the crappy Atlantic.

When we were 16-13 and had just won @Orl and vs. Sota I wasnt harping about how this could be a 50 win team "if only" and I'm not going to cry when we are in a down stretch.

I have said 1000 times that it all comes down to this offseason. If add some young guys through the draft, use the MLE on a young guy like a Hunter/Swift and pull another sign and trade like last time with a younger guy coming back its all good. If we trade our expiring deals and a pick for Webber I will become Islefan's side kick.

No... watching Sweetney outplay Curry when they were one on one and seeing Marbury/Crawford/Sweetney/Ariza out there I actually felt pretty good about the direction of the team.

Most off all I'm glad Zeke hasnt panicked and made a bad trade for a Webber, Wince Carter or Jalen Rose.

Briggie, we're still waiting for you to adjust your 7-22 prediction. Fish has been much more accurate than you have, even when the Knicks are struggling

I'm still waiting for you to adjust your doom and gloom predictions for the Suns after they signed Nash. Weren't the Suns owners supposed to be ruining the team for years to come? You really nailed that one on the head.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

when you make predictions, you have certain assumptions that you make.

For the knicks to have gotten to 47- and they still might- I think they needed things to break favorablly.

No one expected TT to come out and flat out suck.

I think most people to varying degrees of reasonableness will agree that the knicks have in some instances underperformed.

And c'mon- who thought Crawford was going to get Turf Toe!

Suns did a good job. I already revised my assessment of them. You just don't come here often enough to read most of my posts. You're right; I know much more about the Knicks than about the Suns. Let's keep this thread on the Knicks since I'm sure that was Briggs intention. You can start a new thread on the Suns if you want to.
