I come up with at least one a week so why not......

Tim Thomas, Hardaway, and Baker for Donyell, Rose, Alvin Williams, and Alonzo Morning.

They get crazy cap relief......
The Knicks get a revamped 4 and 3 and they get a shot blocker in Zo. I figure if the Knicks take back Alvin they could bring back the chipmunks......Toronto would definately do it if Alvin is involved.

yea, they get cap relief.......after the 05-06 season.

no team will take these guys with still another year in their contract. you have to trade these guys in the offseason or by the next trading deadline in order to get the most in return.

The Knicks have to get an impact player for TT's and Penny's expiring contract. That deal just gives them a bunch of spare parts.

it's not a bad team, but do we win a title w/that roster? i doubt it...maybe it would be better just to stick w/what we have & try to use Penny, TT, Nazr & Moochie's expiring contracts after this season to net us a true impact player that can bring this team to the next level?

Would all the mofo's that say the Knicks should wait for an impact player please state a name......Who could the Knicks get?

Donyell and Rose are as close to impact players as the Knicks are gonna get.....

Check out the MLK game that just finished? The Bulls are better than these Knicks.....The Knicks need more creators and offensive player.

People talk so much about defense but when it counts down the stretch the Knicks can't score. The Bulls proved that twice.....

Excellent point Rich. The point is to win a championship, not to win a close game against the Bulls on MLK day.

Excellent point Rich. The point is to win a championship, not to win a close game against the Bulls on MLK day.

By the way if Philly and Boston continue to win the Knicks won't have to worry cuz they will have a lottery pick on their hands.....

The Bulls have finally grown up.....they are better than their record and they are better than the Knicks.

By the way Donyell and Rose are not world beaters but they are better than KT and Tim Thomas and they make the Knicks more talented.

Who cares Philly has a better deal with Skinner and Big Dog for Rose and Donyell......The Knicks will just pray that another team is willing to dump off their star players for Timmy and Penny next February.

But if the Knicks can't get an impact player, they should blow the team up and rebuild, or at least set a date certain (for example, when Houston's contract expires after '07) when they can get under the cap to sign free agents. What is the point of making moves that will NEVER yield a championship, no matter what?

So you are basically saying just stand pat till '07?

My point is that you have to formulate a plan that will have a credible chance to yield a championship. I don't see how your trade, or what the Knicks are doing now, does that. Making the playoffs every year is not enough.

simple EnySpree, oh seeker of knowledge...if you can't get an impact player, then do nothing & stand pat, let the contracts expire & go after a FA that can help this team reach the next level...trading for Jalen Rose makes no sense w/the team we have now...we need a C, not another G.

did you think we'd be able to get Jamal & JYD for simply scrap pieces? my guess is you probably didn't...did u think we'd be able to get Marbury before last year? my guess is you probably didn't...since you apparently don't have the answers either, why make a move for the sake of making one to simply win another game or 2 when it doesn't get us to where we want to go, which is to win an NBA championship? we need impact players...who the hell knows who'll be available? i sure don't...but i'm willing to keep my options open until someone does pop up on the radar that we can get w/our expiring contracts & other trade chips next year.

& btw, when someone offers a constructive criticism of your trade idea, appreciate it & don't start disrespecting...it's not like anyone called u a moron or something for suggesting this trade.

You guys are right about the contracts....next year they will be worth more.....especially when you factor in Baker, Moochie, Penny and Timmy......ok......

So this season is a waste.

Guys are saying Fire Lenny like it's his fault. Why root for a team if you are waiting for someone to sell the Knicks a magic bean?

People keep saying the Knicks need a center......Nazr has been playing well at that spot. There aren't many others that are playing better than Nazr....

Curry probably will stay with the Bulls......Same with Big Z and Magliore. Shaq ain't going anywhere.

No Ratliff is not the answer. Maybe Dalembert could work but he will comand the mid-level and if it's more than that the Knicks can't afford him.

The Knicks need a better small fwd and a better power fwd. That's plain to see.

If you guys would rather wait till next off-season or 2007 then you are wasting your time even debating........Fire Lenny and Isiah and bring in Phil like most of you want. Gut the team and wait for a center to come in the draft. Become a lottery team for 3 more years.

I want the Knicks to win and be compeditive. I don't care about games.....the Knicks suck, period. They need better players......not for a team to hand deliver a savior to MSG.

I'm not a NBa executive so I could careless. I go here everyday for fun like everyone else.

And if you feel disrespected on the internet then you have a serious problem and should go do regular stuff with real people outside of the house.

and about appreciating criticism? This isn't Writing class, or home economics.

This is all in fun.....or supposed to be.

All I did was post a trade.....people say they don't like....so what.
But if you think the Knicks should get something better....they what is your big idea......It's no fun when only the same people post trades while the rest just wait to state the obvious or just quote what the papers are saying.
