Well, thats it folks we missed out on an opportunity to get a real center. No not a Vin Baker, Nazr Mohammed, or Bruno Sundov. No i said a real center. Why you ask? Because Isiah Thomas couldnt do without the glue of the team. Now dont get me wrong im am not totally against not pulling the trigger early when things go wrong but when you get a chance to trade Kurt Thomas for Eddy Curry, you do it. Especially if Chicago approaches you with the trade. This move by Isiah Thomas, or lack thereof, is the worst thing he could have done. By sitting on his hands he has confined us to mediocrity. We needed a center last summer, we needed a center last year, we needed a center since we lost Ewing. If Isiah does not get us a legit center (and no not Nazr Mohammed) we will again have no shot at doing something, anything, special in the playoffs.

This article is less definite:

...

Curry, who is a free agent after the season, wouldn't say whether he intends to re-sign with the Bulls -- or perhaps, with the Knicks, to rejoin his pal Jamal Crawford.

"I'm playing every thing one game at a time," he said. "It's hard to tell what the organization is thinking, and what kind of plan that they have. But you kind of know if the right situation arises, they will pull the trigger on a trade, so you really don't know how long you're going to be here."

how do you know Isiah turned down a chance to get Curry for Kurt Thomas? there's no way in HELL the Bulls would even consider an offer like that...if there's even remotely any truth to that rumor at all, it is more than likely that there was much more involved in that deal like the addition of Ariza and/or Sweetney.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I read about a trade of
Nazr + Sweets + TT
for Curry + Antonio davis + something else.

Curry for KT is a no brainer and doesn't work money-wise and would be the dumbest thing CHI ever did.
