Aside from getting the "BEST PLAYER " Tim Thomas, they'd be clearing up cap space. Baron Davis reportedly can be had for the right asking price. Marko Jaric is a decent player as well plus a draft pick. (If N.Orl wants another young player substitute Jaric for Shaun Livingston) or maybe NY deals off its 1st rd pick (Protected Lottery) Either way I still think the deal would make sense for all involved.

if NO really keeps on tanking then I could POSSIBLY see them doing the deal. but they'd have to first be really desperate.

come on guys, get real...you're going to have to give up alot more than that to get a player of Elton Brand's calibre...the 1st round pick unrestricted along w/that package at a bare minimum.

how about Kittles, Wilcox and Livingston for Baron and the Knicks don't get jack? That sounds about right to me.

i kinda like this trade........

NO gets Sweetney Timmy comes off the books soon and Jaric is a nice player.

It's a slick trade that won't happen.

The Clippers finally get a really good point to go with a point guard starved team.....they come out alot better in my opinion.

Brand in NY is beautiful......Bird Man would satisfy all the Knick fans obsession for a shot blocker.

I like the trade....
