younger, white version of Lenny Wilkins imho...we need a stern guy who'll instill some discipline if you ask me.

DOn't know if it is true but ESPNradio had just mentioned that Lenny Wilkins might no make it pass this week..

They said that they have been reports on the Knicks already looking for a replacement.

Do not know how much of it is true though...

Larry Brown is the best choice & i think he will be a Knick coach someday.

i thought of mark jackson myself. hes smart, hes a PG, he's tough but also knows how to be cool. he played under riley larry bird larry brown rick pitino, he wouldnt cost 7mm a year--more like 2mm and could be a real good coach IMHO.
also, nate mcmillan is in his last year of contract, hes proving to be pretty good iMHO, but he would cost much more$$$ than Jackson.

Id let lenny coach out the year unless they just drop off the face here. i dont think they will do that, but these next few games are darn important. we dont really have a team that is capable of winning 7 in a row were more like 4 out of 5 on a good stretch, so we cant take any more loses here before a ROUGH ROUGh stretch comes up soon.
if we happened to lose the next 2, it could get scary, we need to win here badly. tomorrow i would say is a must win game.

More like a Knick coach for a day and skip out. Browns Loyalty scares me off.

I prefer Marc Ivaroni, if Phil Jackson doesn't become a NYK coach.

No matter what Isiah says publicly, I still think he wants to coach this team if he is ever able to acquire enough talent to enable it to contend for a championship.

As a result, I think he would hire Mark Aguirre or Brendan Suhr ahead of any of the guys mentioned because they would willingly step aside if that time ever comes.

Daly already turned Isiah down last season.

If the reports are true about Wilkens being shown the door, I think they will be promote one of the assistants for the rest of the season and depending on how they do, make them permanent. I think Brendan Suhr will be interim if Wilkens is let go.

I would go with an assistant who has already proven himself. Look at the Hornents assistants under Byron Scott,

Jim Cleamons, Darrell Walker Kenny Gattison who was re-tained when Scott came aboard.

I think Cleamons is the guy:Cleamons brings 14 seasons as either a head or assistant coach and six NBA championships with him to the Hornets bench. He began his coaching career in 1989 when he joined former teammate Phil Jackson's staff with the Chicago Bulls (the first year of Jackson's tenure in Chicago) and helped the Bulls reel off three straight NBA championships in 1991, 1992 and 1993. In his seven seasons in Chicago (1989-1996), the Bulls posted a 414-160 (.721) record.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I like the Mark Jackson idea...and he can bring Patrick Ewing with him as a centers coach....I think Zeke needs a coach that will grow with the team..LB is a little to weird for my taste...dood has neared breakdowns everywhere he went and nowhere he was is close to NY....

Rumors are getting stronger like i had mentioned before.. Sources are indicating Isiah will take over the coaching reigns over Lenny W. for the remainder of the season..
