Crawford, Sweetney, Sundov and a 2006 #1 draft pick for Emeka Okafor and Jahidi White.

Does this or does this not work for the Bobcats?

If not, state if Okafor is just unattainable or if the trade can be tweaked.

okafor is a 15-11 rookie.

that's the closest you will get from a franchise player. He's tough, can defend and has a good ball iq, he plays inside...

i guess we coudln't get him even if we asked just :
"take everything you want"

I think that Emeka is totally unattainable, IMO...the Bobcats drafted him with the thought of him being the face of their franchise and he has not disappointed in the least.

Being stubborn and being smart are two different things. Okafor is an excellent player and naturally we would be giving up a lot of value. But, Okafor is not Tim Duncan and will never be (for your information, Andrew). Okafor's offensive game is much more limited as he has no post moves. He isn't a first option offensively. That means you have to add a lot of pieces to build a succesful team - which is what we're offering them.

At the same time - Charlotte being a start-up franchise - I understand why they wouldn't want to trade him. But, value speaks volumes.

Trade idea for Okafor?? Maybe tomorrow we can come up with a trade idea for LeBron James?? Sorry but, many of these trade proposals are somewhere over the rainbow... light years from any semblance of reality.

detroit started their run with grant hill/ben wallace deal gaining the inside edge. but pistons also had stack as a trading chip that cats dont have......okafor should be their keeper
