before anyone can say that he is the next dominating big man in the game

people like to take this title away from shaq diesel and give it to yao ming but i wonder have they really sat and watched ming play

cause the guy is a horrible passer. he is a weak rebounder and i'm not just talking about for his size i'm talking about a weak rebounder period

he is ultra timid and i was surprised to see how the guy looks absolutely exhausted out there coem the 4th quarter and he only plays 37 minutes a game

now you may think i'm lying but if you took away yao's jump shot it is very possible that dikembe mutombo would be just as effective playign center than ming

i know that yao is still young and has tons of upside compared to father time mutombo so get it twisted

but if i am jeff van gundy i am very disappointed in yao's progress

the guy is a turnover machine. how can he make his teammates better when he is a horrible passer, turns the ball over at an alarming rate and doesn't seem to know how to use his size against obviously smaller players

remember this post

i definitely agree with pimpin, yao is so overrated its not even funny. due to the weak centers in the league, he happens to be one of the better ones just by default.

Also remember who his big man coach is....yea that's right Patrick Ewing.

What was Ewings weaknesses, passing out of the double and turning the ballover. GREAT COACH! LOL
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

whenever the camera goes to the sideline i always look to see if patrick is giving yao some advice but usually ewing looks like he is high

you know what else is funny bigsmooth, have you seen when a player goes at yao, yao will jump about 1 feet in the air, look clumsy in the process and still won't block the shot. i mean have you ever seen anything like it before

Yao should be getting the NBA game by now... I don't think Van Gundy is utilizing him the right way... when the Rockets run a play to force-feed him the ball, everyone in the arena knows who the ball is going to. Also, he isn't very good at banging his man down low to get position. Also, the double team comes before he can even get control of the ball.... On D, a guy his height should be blocking everything... he's nothing but a bad defensive Shawn Bradley with a jumper.

Ewing is my favourite player, but I don't know how he's gonna become a coach.. he was always a "lead by example" type of guy, never seemed like a tutor
David f'n Lee for President!!
