Im watching the Nets-Rockets on TNT and they just showed Kobe getting hurt, I think it was his ankle, he couldnt put any pressure on it and he couldnt even walk off the court...KARMA??

Kobe goes down 5 minutes into the game and LA wins against a team that blew us out of the water. Teams step up, every team has injuries, its not an excuse.

That's an exception to the rule. Let's see how LA does over the long-term without Kobe. I bet they struggle just like Indiana did without their big 3, like Detroit did without Big Ben, like most teams do. Man you have a selective memory.

Oh cmon, Lakers are a better team then us.

They can Kobe, Odom and Butler, who are all better then any player on our roster the other side of Marbury. And Kobe is better then Marbury.

They also have a real center, in Mihm, a MUCH better coach, and a good system that allows them to challenge for the playoffs in WEST!

They can sustain an injury to Kobe for a game, maybe 2-3, not longterm either way, but even w/out Kobe they still have Odom and Butler.

You can't compare kaka to gold, Knicks are far worth then Lakers are, and thus any injury affects them that much more.

When you are at best a .500 team with everybody healthy, then w/out key players you drop to below .500.

And payroll has got nothing to do with this. Do you see the cap playing out there for us? The terrible management decisions that led to the current financial situation don't just make bad players into good ones. If it worked that way, we would be a 60 win team.
