he was constantly dissing nailon. talking about how he's one dimensional and just shoots and was SHOCKED when he had some rebounds and assists in his box score.

and all the while our very own allan houston can only shoot the ball at this point and nothing else.

it WAS NOT fun listening to them last night.

he is right tho...Nailon IS a 1 dimensional player...the fact that he was a big reason why the knicks lost & was effective on other aspects of the game other than just shooting points to the lack of boxing out & playing tight defense by the knick player guarding him...maybe it's more of a criticism of the knicks' D than a criticism of Lee Nailon...at least, that's how i take it.

yeah but he was really dogging lee. it was bad. just like andareise was dogging baron all night as well for being a ball hog. it wasn't cool. the last thing i want to hear is our own version of freakin' tommy heinsohn and those boston celtic announcers or even ian eagle talking like jfk was assassinated when rj was lost for the season.

i think andareise was right tho in criticizing baron for winding down the clock & being a black hole...if the knicks had won that game, i could easily point a finger of blame at Baron for not getting his other teammates involved in the offense.

breen goes overboard at times, i agree...sometimes he overly criticizes knick players too tho.

Notice that they didn't dog any of the Knicks players, and they were the losing team. Constructive criticism is needed badly but we all know it could cost them their job.

I actually like both of them I am sorry constructive criticism is for the coachs to tell the players I don't want to watch a game and be reminded ever minute how bad we suck right now. Mike breen also had a very cool DJ remix during the game. How can you hate on him after that?

Nialon is not one dimensional at all!! Even his stats show that he very frequently gets atleast 9 rebounds a game. Its ridiculous that Breen would mention Nailon as being one dimensional and not say anything about Houston's offensive or defensive game. Well, I did hear one negative comment about Houston getting beat on defense but that was all.

I agree with Vmart and djsunyc here. The didnt really go after any Knicks even though they were the losing team cause it would most probably cost them thier job.

Listening to Mike Breen is like listening to a box factory tour guide. He points out the obvious and there's never anything remotely interesting. Not to mention he never gives you the player's perspective. Watching a game these days is like listening to a guest lecture by a referee.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

I dunno... seems like Nailon makes a living everytime he comes to the Garden... with the one exception being... when he was in a Knicks uniform.

I don't know guys. I heard Breen mention something to the effect of: "Allan Houston just cannot stop anybody. He's been having problems all game." He definitely mentioned it a few times. I've heard him say it before too.
