I can't believe what happened last night. Although I have anticipated a good showing by the Hornets, but I still believed that our boys were going to pull this one out. Playing 7 players last night was idiotic by Lenny. Brewer, Sundov, and Vinny were all available to play, but Lenny chose not too. Instead, he elected to go with Marburry and Kurt for 45 minutes a piece. Once again, he was outcoached. I think that the time has come for a drastic change to happen. I know that a few of you will come out and said that this Knicks team is not build to win a championship right now, but I don't believe that we are build to disappoint as badly as we have either. When your payroll is that high, it is imperative for the result to be decent. We don't have to win a championship, but we have to win games that we should.....

Right about now, whatever move Isiah makes, I will support him a 100%, because what we have is not working. Get rid of the coach, because the players need a new voice.

was is worrying is that marburay has already logged a lot of minutes this yr, after playing in the olympics.

I fear he could run out of gaz pretty soon.

Lenny's inability to coach has forced Marburry to exert a lot of energy, and soon or later, it will affect him physically. Marb should not play that many minutes, especially when we have that many decent ball-handlers on our roster. I can understand 35 min per night, but anything beyond that is not good. Same goes with Kurt, when we have Vinny and Sundov available to play.

Bruno would have broken the game over!

Why Vin don't play is beyond me.

Dido, you discount the whole organizational structure. The team followed a game plan based on available players, and game situation.

The game plan is decided by Lenny and his coaches. If lenny is ignoring his staff and failing, then there is a singular problem. If Lenny is following ISIAHS staff recommendations and the team fails, its an organizational problem. I personally think that Isiah has his hand in the planning, so I think just labeling Lenny in my opinion might not be all the blame. And not the fix.

You are right and its not fair how the fans ESPECIALLY on this board excuse some people. Isiah gets his share of grief everywhere else but fans that post here dont usually blame him that much. Lenny gets blamed a LOT and thats unfair. Thats universal though. Everyone dislikes Lenny and TT without taking into account that the rest of the team plays like crap.

Let's not forget that the catalyst of this team is first and foremost the coach. The players come after. Our roster currently has 14 players available with 12 healthy bodies that can contribute. When Lenny makes the decision to only use 7 of the 12, he definitely is to be blamed. Fatigue can force a lot of bad shots, and we all know that Houston and others are not that healthy. As far as we are concerned, there is no telling how health Marb is right now. He doesn't complain about his health, but at this point in the season, especially after lugging this many minutes, he has to have some sort of injury. Davis was killing us last night, why didn't Lenny put the bigger Brewer in the game to slow him down some? Kurt lugged on 45 minutes while Vinny who too is collecting a huge paycheck didn't play at all. At what point does it become the coach's fault?????

Isiah picks the coach, and the players. Reread my post. Its orgnaizational process, not just one person.

If blame is what you need, then there is plenty to go around.

You think 4 coaches (jeff-don-lenny-??) in 4 seasons is a good idea?

And if that does not work,then what? Keep doing it?

Isiah can step up and do the "we are rebuilding, it takes time, younger more athletic, blah blah" and fans will just eat it up. Isiah is savvy, he can handle the media.

Throw few summertime rumors, and he is golden again.

We will make the playoffs, so the buzz will last.

I Don't think he's trying to say that if bruno and vin would have played, they would have giving us a lift,but more so to give a couple of other starters a rest.

These guys have shooting percentages of .250, .318, and .333.
Neither Vin nor Bruno have made an impact on any game all year.
Brewer had some quality minutes in 1 game all year.

If Lenny HAD played these guys and lost, then you guys woud be
claiming he's an idiot for not having his good players on the floor!

Maybe if Marburry's minutes were reduced with the presence of Brewer guarding BD, he would have been fresher in the fourth quarter...There is really no reason why Marburry must play 45 minutes in a game.....this is not the playoffs.

The game of basketball is a game of rythm, how can one get in any rythm when you only play less than 5 minute maybe every 10 games?????

There is plenty of blame to go around and Lenny certainly deserves some but this roster does not have 12 healhy players. Vin, Sundova and Brewer are not going to make a damn bit of difference and that's not Lennys fault. Craw, TT, Sweeney and Penny are hurt so there is no where close to 12 guys who can make an NBA rotation that are ready to play.

I fault Lenny more for not being able to teach and motivate better but I also give him some slack because most of the guys on this team have had the same problems with all their previous coaches also.
