How old is Webber again??? lol ...won't happen, but the thought's damn funny!
Isiah won't cut the Knicks' throat and make a move like that...

Going younger will be the better improvement.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

from AP :

Chris Webber missed Sacramento's game against Denver on Tuesday night with a sore left knee, leaving the Kings with just nine players in uniform.

Webber missed his third game of the season with soreness in his knee, which still hasn't fully recovered from microfracture surgery after the 2003 playoffs. Webber, who missed all but 24 games of last season following the surgery, was scratched from Tuesday's lineup moments before game time.

yeah he'll get us like nazr Ariza Thomas #1 pick for Webber and the stooges will be coming out of the woodworks telling us how we will win championships than we will spend the next two seasons blaming injuries.

If I was Layden and waited for good deals to come to me nothing would happen. You have to give a bit to get soemthing back always
in this league.

If the Knicks didn't have Houston's contract I would say no
but the Knicks are not getting any cap relief anyhow

Maybe not TT could be Penny who knows but say they aqquire Webber
hes gives you 20 10 5, can last longer in the east

knicks get lucky with the MLE then they are on their way to the way conference finals.

It's not like there is any special big man guaranteed available
when the contracts of TT hardaway expire.

I rather have a gimpy Webber playing 65 games then a Shareef because
we know shareef can take you only that far but Webber when he's in the zone can go over the top, he's an underrated passer and he stil has the softest hands

plus he's got so much criticism he's got a lot of people to prove wrong and Isiah likes that type of connection.

If I were in Dolan I'd buy into Webber if the deal was right. Image for him is everything

Sacremento will only trade Webber if they have an early playoff exit. Sweetney should be good enough to back up Webber by then.

U can keep him only 30 mins a game and he will blowout many teams in the east.

The difference is between thes 2 20 mil players is
Webber's pos isn't required to run like Houston,

Houston has always been a good role player nothing more.

Webber has been a superstar and is still an allstar

The knicks dont have the luxury to wiat for another 4 years for a talent to develop

After the Marbury trade it's the $$ way or the highway

Reez, KT, Nazr for CWebb. Sounds about right!

Dam the team to hell if they do that!

I'll pack up and go to Brooklyn!

baker is short term, and can be a throw in in any deal. not to mention that he did play well last year. i personally think it might have been to please agent goodwin, he did bust his keester getting that craw trade done.
i sure hope baker is'nt tokin' back on grandpas' ol' cough medicine.

Yeah, but we had NONE on the active roster when Isiah got here! Spending the MLE on Baker was a worthwile favor to Goodwin for helping us get Jamal, Briggie.
