6'10 237 sophmore forward/center from Uconn. Putting up 15pts 10rebs 3.2blks per game. He had a 22pt-10reb-8blk game. 7 offensive rebounds he averages 4.8 a game.

Athletic shot-blocker ... Runs the floor well ... A solid finisher ... Has a long wingspan ... Aggressive rebounder, long arms and good anticipation only intensify his production in that area ... Not absolutely sure what to do with the ball in the low post when he is defended by opponents his own size, but goes to the hole with tenacity ... Attended prep school at West Nottingham Academy and averaged 28.0 points, 16.0 rebounds and 9.7 blocks per game as a fifth-year senior ... Posted 20.0 points, 14.4 rebounds and 7.0 blocked shots per game as a senior at South Carroll High School ... Named the Carroll County Player of the Year and First Team All-Metro as a senior... A second team All-Metro pick as a junior.

for some reason he looks like a giant 12 year old to me. I have no idea. I've seen him place 2 or 3 times and it was hard to judge, because he wasnt really involved in the offense during those games. He was just kind of in the flow of things... I dont really have a feel for him.

he's not coming out this year, he's on pace to graduate in 3 years. He's had the most growth of any player in CBB Y-Y, but he still needs to put on weight, he's 6-10 1/2 but weighs 235--needs a solid 10-13 pds+ he needs 2-3 more defined post moves. Once he puts on the weight and strength and defines his game a bit more, he will be a premium caliber talent at the 4 who can shift to 5.
the origal plans were to red-shirt him last year+ he was so good he ended up starting PF on the championship team. I like this kid a lot, i am biased because of where he plays, but he really does have the potential to be a like a kevin mchale type PF. his arms are down to his knees, he plasy well above the rim and he has those wide shoulders and soft touch. he still will need to learn a full repoitre of post moves to be anything close to touching that caliber at peak, but he has a solid chance to be something of that ilk.

I watched Bogut last night for the second time and was much more impressed with his talent. Hes just a different player than last year--he still doesnt have good footspeed, but his basketball iQ and skill set are off the charts. Ballhandling passing shooting touch rebounding, the bottom line is he is the best big player in CBB right now which probably will make him the number 1 pick.

Last year Okafor , hurt made this guy look awful. I watched him 3 times last year and for a half against Arizona this year, but last night he showed skills that were mighty impressive. Hes gone up dramatically on my list, hes the only guy I have seen who looks like a franchise type talent, thats the impression I saw last night, that good. It wasnt the points he scored, which werent that many, it was his overall skill level presence and intensityu. I didnt think he could play NBA 5 but now Im sure he can and there arent many of him with his skills.

if he plays the 4, he will get exploited a bit, but at 5 he looks gold. so thats the big thing, will he be able to play NBA5 thats the only question mark. If Chris Kaman went 6, this kid will go 1.
