I was thinking about starting crawford but I think Stephon works slightly better with Houston. And we need Crawford to play some backup PG. As long as Houston gets around 25mins and Crawford gets 35mins we should be in great shape. The thought of Ariza and Crawford coming off the bench has me salivating JYD in the starting lineup with houston and stpeh gives it a nice balance of offense & defense. And getting Sweetney back.. whether he comes off the bench or starts eventually has me excited!

Start Allan.

Alan
marbs
TT
Nazr
Kt

Then

Marbs/Brewer
Craw
Azira
Sweets
JYD
Vin

Then Run-Forest-Run!

We don't have to go 10 deep. If you go 8 deep (playoff rotation), Vin and Brewer sit.

I'd like to see a Allan and Craw backcourt. I want to see if Craw could stop chucking, how he can run the team and penetrate.

No soup for coochie and bruno!

Start Houston. Marb, Houston, JYD, Kurt, Nazr

Coochie, Crawf, TT, Sweet, Vinny

or Crawf, Ariza, TT Sweet, Vinny... I like that one better, but due to the fact that Coochie is a true PG, the movement on the floor may be a little better.....

TT should be out. But in a perfect world, he is not making 14million. No playing time, not getting better, and no trade value.

IN a perfect world players should make what they are worth.

TT must RETURN TO HIS UNDERPERFORMING POTENTIAL LEVEL THAT WE ACCEPTED LAST YEAR. NOT KEEP SINKING TO NEW LOWS!

ISIAHS MODEL WAS FOR A SEMI PRODUCTIVE TT!

Sorry to yell.

I like what martin said about this a long time ago. I hope he repeats it. I think it went something like this: Crawford off the bench? Whats the point? Really?

He gave good reasons for it too.

Martin is right....let's see.. Crawford off the bench would mean he'd most likely be coming in for Houston. which doesn't do them any good because Moochie will have to come in for Marbury.

Bring Houston off the bench for Stephon and slide Crawford over to PG just so that Marbury gets a breather. Then Bring Marbury back in for Crawford.

So it'll go:
Stephon/Jamal
H20/Jamal
H20/Stephon
Jamal/Stephon

that would like a charm! Start Crawford!

Lenny is not smart enough to do that. However, I still prefer Houston as the starting SG.....

Allan should start. I think that IT envisions Jamal as the next Microwave.

for this season, bring jamal off the bench and go with a nice young and fast(er) unit. if a swap is to be made, move jyd to the starting lineup.

marbury
h20
jyd
kurt
nazr

with a 2nd unit of

craw
ariza
tim
sweets
kurt/vin/nazr

that's a pretty good 2nd unit with tim in there. but like others have said, it's all about who finishes and jamal will be out there at the end of every game.

Marbury, Jamal, JYD, KT, Nazr.....Allan, Ariza, TT, Sweets, Penny, Baker, Moochie...

That's it right there.....Moochie, Allan, TT, Sweets don't like to run...Ariza gives them at least some energy...

Marbury, Jamal, JYD are all a HIGH energy type....In extended minutes, JYD has been playing like a starter anyway...TT and Allan are better than what alot of teams have off the bench...and this staring 5 is really a good fit...IMO...

... and Lenny would be able to give Houston easier defensive assignments by bringing him in off the bench. Some of these guys just torch Allan as they go by.

I personally like the thought of Houston starting, but with Crawford obviously getting the bulk of the minutes.

Moochie wouldn't have to come in. You're assuming Marbs and Houston would come out around the same time? Bring Allan out that much sooner, let him take a breather for a few minutes, then slide Craw over to point.

So whats the point of starting him? Why not just bring him off the bench?

I never understood the point of starting a player but giving the bench player more minutes.

Also, Jamal has been HORRIBLE as a PG. He has to show that he can make more intelligent decisions as an SG from now on before I'd even contemplate giving him another minute at PG.

You guys have failed to see the real picture with Jamal in the starting lineup. He takes too many crazy shots, and as a result our ofense suffers a great deal. With Marburry running the point, it is imperative to have a sharp shooter out there to spread the floor. Who is our best sharp shooter? Houston. Therefore, Houston as our starting SG is our best option. He doesn't have to play more than 25 minutes per game. In fact the first and fourth quarter or whenever we need scorring is when Houston should spend the most minutes on the court. Remember that with JYD on the court we will sacrifice some scoring from the 3 spot. High percentage shots will be a most....Marb, Houston, JYD, Kurt, and Nazr should and must be our starting five from this point on......

I think you are going to see a lot of Stephon, JC and Houston on the floor at the same time come crunch time to end a game.
