First of all, from a Realgm poster:
I know i'm new to the board but i have to share this info i just got. My man who lives in cleveland was at the game today and he is friends with some people in the knicks organization. He found out that penny is suspended indefinitely because his agent went at it with IT about his role. Kurt thomas said that was f ***ed up , and marbury said f*** penny and kurt and marbury almost went to blows. Kurt told marbury it isn't a surprise everytime he left a team that team got better. NO one likes lenny , they think he stinks as a coach , so he may not finish the season if the streak continues. Basically no one is getting along right now , which is showing in their play of late.

Next, from NY Times:

In the Knicks' locker room afterward, players lectured one another about effort and defense, although all insisted they were still unified.

"Nothing heated," Kurt Thomas said. "It's all about how you define heated. You say heated to me, I think blows. No, no blows were thrown."


Something is seriously wrong here...

Wow, that could explain alot about how we been playing. Damn thats crazy though. Crazy eyes will be gone soon anyway.

Man, this is just awful for Lenny. I don't like him as a coach, but lets be real here, he was set to fail by Thomas.

How can you have any respect from the players if they know that all decisions regarding discipline, playing time, etc., come from right over his head.

Now it appears that Lenny HAS to be fired, as he has lost control over the lockeroom and the team.

We need to bring in a real hard@ss. Somebody who will slap these panzies around like they need it. Somebody to light a fire under there behinds.

from what I saw, Penny went to the IL beacuse he had not completely recovered. I saw him play and he was slow and in pain. I dont know if the agent thing is the reason he is on the IL.

If penny was suspended, he would not be getting paid, and we all would know....they would have to report it. Can't believe anything in the RealGM post.

I want to get some shots in too. Those ass wipes have made my week miserable.

Its official for me this team sucks they are as bad as the Chaney Knicks no difference.

After this dreadful play I am convinced IT is blowing smoke up everyone's azz.

Check this out and leave the bias opionion at home.

Vmart I have been telling postas here this all along , how zeke is a used car salesman and treated us fans as if we were in a blizzard and needed transportation and his sleds were the only ones available.


What ever he said or did we had to believe it and that is how this whole season is a waste unless we get high draft picks.


Trade Marbury and KT and change the style of play is the best solution.

Playa, I knew this team was going nowhere fast this year unless they played young. They need to get Sweetney in their because every second that he is not out there is every second they delay the future. They need to take a page out of rebuilding teams book and play Sweetney. I'm looking at Orlando playing Howard and sweetney is every bit as good as Howard and probably put up better number than Howard right now but the Knicks organisation has no balls and won't make a move to him. Ariza should get more minutes too. This team isn't going anywhere and the best solution is to play the young if they lose know that the young players are getting valuable experience at the same time the team gets better pick if that happens. At best Sweetney comes in and take the team by the horn and makes it his team.

As for Marbury I never liked Marbury. Because he isn't a pure pg he is a sg caught in a pg body and the team treats him like a PG he is missing a valuable ingredient thats the ability to make the teammates better. He take more pride in being a top 15 scorer than to see a teammate be in the top 15 in scoring. There is a reason why teams trade him and a reason why they perform better when he leaves. People can say its injuries and what have you but when it is all said and done it will point to Stephon. Stephon sucks so bad at being a pg he can't even run a decent fast break to save his life. forget about true PGs signature a lob pass he doesn't even have confidence in his ability to throw on up there.

if you really think that sweetney is better than dwight howard then you have fallen and can't get up

if the Knicks aren't playing Sweetney like Orlando is playing Howard then what does that tell you?

what does that tell you? He is not the future

Marbury avg's more assist than 90% of the pg's in the NBA today so if he is a sg trapped in a pg's body then what is Sweetney?

HHaaahhhaahah, this is great news. Although I don't believe it, but I would applaud it if it was to happen for real. Kurt needs to go, and it is like I have said before, he is the real problem. His lack of athleticism is the reason why our team seems so bad. Once he is move and someone else steps in, I can almost guaranty that we will be a much better ball club. I don't care who you replace Kurt with: JYD, SWEET, Even Vinny will do a better job than Kurt. We don't need a jump shooting PF, we need a passer/post player to help Nazr upfront. AT this point all three of the players that I have named above are all better fit.

Bigpimpin, do you actually think Zeke with his "HUMUNG0US EGO" let a Layden draft pick(MIKE SWEETNEY) play ahead of a guy he just gave an extension to KT?

Zeke should have never given a guy like KT an extension.

you really believe that Isiah has told Wilkens to NOT play Sweets ahead of KT because Layden drafted him? Seriously, lay off the bong. How about the fact that Sweets is a worse defender and a foul machine and hasn't earned the starting position?

interesting stuff guys but my gut feeling is that this really happened. People have been saying that Isiah told the team to claim that penny was really injured. How come they didn't even save him a locker then?

Sweetney isn't what most people may think he is.

Kurt isn't anything special but i think a blind man could see why he gets more minutes at PF than Mike

I do believe that Isiah told Lenny that Jamal needs to play 40 minutes so that he can average 20pts. That way Isiah looks like a genious. That is why Lenny has such a short fuse for guys like Sweetney, Ariza and JYD but he falls asleep when Crawford is bricking 3pointer after 3pointer and never gets benched. Crawford is a good shooter...He should definitely be able to shoot for a good percentage not 39% and under if only someone would show him what it takes to win. not encourage him to keep shooting. off buzzard 3's only win you 2 games while bad shot selection can cost you a dozen.
