What about getting Eric Snow from Cleveland. He had a flare up with Paul Silas and isn't happy with his minutes. We could play him at the point, ship Houston out and have a three headed monster similar to what the Sixers had with Iverson, Snow and Mckie. With Snow, Marbury and Crawford we would get a more disciplined point guard in Snow and let Marbury swing over to shooting guard at times. Snow is also better at defending other point guards than Marbury. I am sure Cleveland would have to give us more than just Snow for Houston to make it work $$$wise but I think it would be a better fit than having Crawford and Houston on the same team. Lastly, the Sixers reached the finals with their 3 guard system and our's would be better than their's.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Perhaps if we landed Diop along with Snow. Snow is definitely better than Moochie..though, that's not saying much.

How about Snow, Scott WIlliams, and a number one pick for Houston, Penny and Moochie?

Yeah, I know putting Penny and Houston in a deal together is next to impossible with their salaries but maybe Houston or Penny with Moochie would work.

Eric Snow might stabilize this team and get people where they are supposed to be on the floor. He is a leader. Since Lenny wants to play half court ball and not run and gun, Snow is ideal for the job. It might help Marbury in the long run.

We can fire Lenny instead, and attempt to change our style of play to include a little defense. That would probably get us a few more wins too.

Snow is 32 years old & signed through 2009...no thanks...i don't want another Charlie Ward situation 3 years from now where we have to wait until his contract is expiring before we can unload his old, aging & beatup carcass out of town.

Snow could help this team NOW, but we need to think about 2 years from now...this team won't contend for any titles in the next 2 years the way things are going.

when will people realize that unless Allan totaly heals and can begin to run and move like a regular human being, there is no way he will be shipped anywhere. His contract is crazy and he is very easy to stop. We need to hope Craw gets better really soon so H20 can go back to 15-20 minutes a game.

OK, here it is: ship Penny and Brewer to Cleveland for Snow, Wagner, Scott Williams, and Tractor Traylor. The trade works and the only one long term is Snow with 4 yrs left. Cleveland gets cap space too because Penny is gone in a year. We get Snow to play for right now, Wagner as an experiment and Williams to help on the front court.
CLeveland gets rid of Snow who they don't like.

I think you're trying to hard. Snow is not going to be the guy who will help us drastically. The biggest problem on defense is probably the 3 or the 2 spot - all opposing 2's and 3's get by easily. We can't stop the superstar SG's and swingmen of the league at this point.

what use does CLE have for Pennyy & Brewer? at least they can get some use out of those other players...they aren't in a rebuilding mode, so they'll only make a deal to IMPROVE their team.

They would clear Snow from the roster and his four years remaining as well as get cap room unloading the others....Penny is functional there and can be a mentor for their young bucks.

If penny were healthy then I can maybe see some logic in that trade...but he's got a bad hammy & knee issues to boot...i don't see them making that trade because it doesn't help them get better this year.
