This is delusional. They are rebuilding, why would they want Penny or even TT????

Not to mention they make about 15 times what Smith makes.

the only realistic trade for Josh Smith would involve Ariza or Sweetney

More like Ariza & Sweetney... This is a young, athletic talent who plays D and puts fans in the seats ... Atlanta is very high on J. Smith

I didn't think he was that good after watching those HS all-star games.

Dude can really play. He's justs a run and jumper right now.

Question? What will be his position? He looks like a power forward and can block shots and rebound. He has the height. He doesn't seem to have much moves offensively. Time will tell but he will be good in two years.

At least the Knicks have Trev Reezy to counter this type of talent.

I see this kid all the time, he is a good leaper, but I don't see many basketball skills out of this kid. I would not trade ariza straight up for him. I think ariza is better with more upside..

agreed...i feel Ariza has alot more basketball IQ & defensive instincts...Josh has PHENOMENAL athleticism, but i think Trev has better all around feel for the game.

What makes Ariza so much better is he has the instints and drive to get better. His defense is great and he has at least 1 dunk put back per game. His court vision is awesome as well....he can flat out pass.

He just needs to learn how to score after his lane has been cut off and he has to work on his jumper cuz it's robotic looking.

Ariza will be a player in this league pretty soon. Hopefully he's still on the Knicks.

josh smith is a gifted athlete but i wouldn't want to trade for the guy because what do we trade for the guy anyway

we have a gifted young player in ariza.

nice picture enyspree, I remember that play, ariza was fouled on that play, he drove and tried to score with his left hand, I just love it when a 19 year old kid tries to finish with his off hand...
