Its not bad but Sam/Wally/Ervin for Rose/KT looks like a pretty big down grade for me. Unless Min is convinced they are better with a happy Troy Hudson than a sulky Sam Cassel. I just think that they could do better

i think this works for the Knicks & Raptors but not as much for the Wolves

TOR would be getting a big upgrade at PG if they get Sam I Am...& they'd be unloading Rose's contract which is what they want to do

NY would be getting some nice frontcourt pieces & basically only giving up KT

but would MIN trade away Wally, Sam & Ervin for just KT & Rose? i doubt that...maybe if you could figure out a way for them to also get Rafer Alston from TOR so they have insurance in case Troy Hudson gets injured, or you trade Troy instead of Sam & throw the Raptors a 1st round pick from MIN?

maybe there is a filler piece such as Ariza going to minny

I've felt we could use Donyell Marshall for some time. He's good and would play better in N.Y.

I feel like this.....KG needs a sidekick to watch his back inside. KT will rebound and he will hit that jumper when KG gives it to him. That would work nice with Rose who is an excellent ball handler. Wally isn't much of a creator. I see the Wolves moving the ball alot more with KT and Rose. Sam and Spree are killing the team. Sam has to go cuz he's cheaper and has more years. Sticking Rose and KT will bring back that winning mentality cuz Rose has said he wants to make another run at the title.

Sam's contract is short and so is Timmy. Toronto is still trying to find themselves. Their contracts will help them find their way.

As far as the Knicks? Wally would start and do what Timmy couldn't on offense. Donyell also would be the same threat on the perimeter as KT except evern further out to the three point line while losing no rebounds and gaining a guy that can post up and finish well inside.

Ervin Johnson's career is over....he will let go after this season.

Worried about defense? Well the Knicks aren't exactly stopping teams. With fresh athletic legs in Marshall and Wally the team defense has to get better.

Minny has troy hudson and Anthony Carter. I think troy hudson is too good to be the 3rd pg in minny. He would be great for them. Sam is old and on his way out. I like it for minny because Sma and spree are not producing and KT and Jalen would. Hell Spree may play better with KT there.
