I see @ WFan.com they have a poll asking who would you like to see coach the Knicks next season and one of the choices is Scott Skiles who I find interesting. Former player, young guy, I don't really know much about his coaching style, anyone have any info, I know he just resigned w/ the Suns so he'd be available, what does everyone think?

Ha, didn't know that, guess we don't need him. Chaney seems to have a similar problem.

Donovan would not bea good pro coach. He is a disciple of Pitino and in my opinion wouldnot be up to the task on a pro level. Let him be an assistant and learn the pro game before penciling him as the next Knicks coach. You mau recall that Donovan played on season for the next as Mark Jackson's backup when Pitino was the coach.

I definitely agree that Donovan would be a better pro coach if he had some pro assistant experience. Unfortunately that is not happening for most who make the jump from big time college to the pros. I wouldn't want him straight from college. Lon Kruger (atlanta) is not really doing a great job, and I can't think of a college coach that has made that transition successfully. Pitino, Calipari both failed.

Yeah, he does, and after that incident earlier this week I wouldn't go near him. He seems like a loose cannon.

I guess I was just prescient with my saying "former" coach. But it does say something about the man that he stood up for what he thought was right. He also has produced some very fine basketball teams, and won a championship in the last decade...

ESPN reports Chaney will continue coaching the Knicks next season. I wasn't aware the Knicks were going to tank next year as well...

This is great, the knicks must believe that chaney can help them tank next year too, as they want to get LeBron James. After they get James, they are gonna dump Chaney and bring in a *name* coach, whatever or whoever that might be.

Lebron James?

Should be sweet to have a top 6 pick next season anyway..

1. Lebron James 6-7

2. Kendrick Perkins 6-11

3. Nickoloz Tskitishvili 6-11

4. James White 6-6

5. Maybyner Hilario 6-10

6. Chris Duhon 6-1
