Do you think we should take a shot at him? I personally think he's better at backup center role than Baker. But again, according to this article, http://www.detnews.com/2005/pistons/0501/06/d01-52275.htm, he apparently doesn't have much left in his tank...

Aside from the Knicks, is there a franchise out there where DC hasn't warn out his welcome?

DC was trade fodder. He got the contract and just rolled over as he has his whole career. He is done. He is one funny dude.

The guy should be doing his farewell tour and having fans argue his place amung the gods. The guy was more talented than Karl Malone, or most power forwards ever! He was that good, but never ever had the heart to stay in shape, yet along get into shape.

He maxed the system for its millions!

i remembered barkley saying in the early 90's that there was no reason why dc is not one of the top five players in the nba. that was a time when the nba was stacked with talent. arguably he had five great years but he was lazy in the beginning. then when he decided to play hard he was riddled with injuries that he lost his abilities. it also did'nt help that he wasn't the best coachable player. after awhile he tuned coaches out. he had great coaches to like chuck daly and larry brown. even though brown like him he obviously got tired of his antics.
