Our not ready for prime time players take on the beast of the east and see the thing called Shaq.

The supreme hooked on Stephonic vs. the new kid Wade! Two of the better power guards in the league!

Will Trev get back to back minutes? Shaq will dominate below, but can KT and Nazr hit the 15 footer to draw shaq out?

I hope I can get home in time to watch more than 4th period!

Think "MSG SOUTH" will still be friendly for the Knicks?? Should be fun!

Dwayne Wade is gonna futher my wanting another guy(experienced) besides ARIZA that plays over the freakin rim for the knicks. VC
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Knicks 105
Heat 96

Shaq 34 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks
Stephon 32 points, 7 assists, 9 recounds
Nazr 29 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists

Was it just me or did Stan Van Gundy just diss New Yorkers everywhere?

The Big Coin Flip will get his share of favorable calls against Nazr who will do the best he can. Sweetney is out. Kurt Thomas remains earthbound and Vin is MIA

Steph is under a microscope, Houston is still searching for his game and we're still missing Jamal Crawford.

Tim Thomas is only recently playing basketball, Penny is rusty, Bruno is new to quality minutes and Trevor is a rookie

Lenny is perceived as senile and too many people resent the mere fact Isiah is in charge.

Nothing to lose in Miami

hmmmmm, let me see....

miami just lost AT HOME to seattle.
knicks just lost two in a row AT HOME.
knicks can't beat good teams.
miami is one of the good teams.

following the pythagorean theorem - a^2 + b^2 = c^2 we can easily see that the knicks lose...

Pythagorean? Sounds like a Euro Center gaining a lot of interest in the 2005 draft!

Some Greek Giant: And now with the 13th pick, the New York Knicks pick "Bibboposy Pythagorean" from Slippaponomous Athens AG.

Game thread title!
ALL BALL Official Thread (1/5): Feeling the Heat in South Beach
I love Nalod's game thread titles. I can't help it. They are so good that I think they should be headlines in some newspaper somewhere on Gameday's. Good job brother!

The Knicks will not win tonite. I dont even want to lie to myself and say we will win. All I want to see is the Knicks play hard. Play defense, contest every shot, try and go after rebounds, dont settle for the jumper's etc etc. Marbury should have a fun time tonite. I think Damon plays PG and he cannot defend Marbury. I hope the Knicks dont get embarrassed.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

focus on keys to victory

in this game, our key is Tim thomas, yes that may sound scary, but he is capable-albeit every 7 games or so, of pulling a 27 pt 6 rebound perfromance.

if h20 can bring 18 Stephon 25 ,kT and Nazr get going inside and out, we have the recipe to win.

what is the trouble? b-b is bad and our defense may have big troubles tonight. no one can guard Wade or shaq--so we must concentrate on stopping everyone else and sending shaq to the FT line as much as possible. we need baker in this game for 5 fouls and 6 points to make up for mS out.

please please no bruno

Seriously. SVG is a good coach, so expect a zone so NY will have to shoot their way through ... Does anyone honestly expect Nazr to not get into early foul trouble? It's going to be an ugly game.

I'm sure this is redundant but I would so like Ariza and JYD to get major burn tonight and for Moochie and Penny to not.

Nalod, that is seriously funny.

And Briggs, great call on us trading up to snatch Bibboposy. Have you seen him play? Anyone have a link to any video?

I'm wondering: can Bibbo really bring it in the NBA? I'm worried about his 12.7 sec. 40 and his 3/4 inch vertical. And we all know the competition is a little suspect in the Grecian B league. Remember the Clips' fiasco wasting their 2nd 1st round pick in '03 on Diameter "The Satyr" Sevrevenkvs. What a goat.

Remember "baby Shaq" a few years back?

Bibbo played with Vujanic a few years back and then quit to work in the familys feta cheese factory. The active enzymes found in feta, similar to yogurt cultures can aid in growth. "Bibbo" grew to 7-6 and has big hands. They smell god awful according to reports, but he can palm two balls in his hand!

Bibbo tore up the Grecian mens novice division and I hear can buy his contract with a pan of Mousakka! Bibbo can flat out play and Vujanics agent will be representing him.

Tapscott is scouting him!

Sticking with my state.
The Knicks will win tonight.

I will say, Marbury has the outside touch tonight and scores 45 points! (9-13 from 3) along with 5 assists

Wade has 28 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds
Shaq has 30 points, 14 rebounds, 3 blocks
