Salaries match close enough. Kwame isnt playing now.. his ankle is still not right, and he's only played about 10 games. I dont know if Wash would go for it but I think they are happy with thier young guys right now and might will be willing to cash in on Kwame.

We need to get Narz in the allstar game so that his value could sky rocket.

hells yes.

here's the deal tho, i think they're still high on kwame and keep saying that kwame is important in what they're trying to do. they really only have one big playing and that's haywood. etan thomas is still hurt, as is kwame. so they really need to hold onto all 3 for the rest of this season so i don't think ernie will do it.

I would like to have Kwame, but i would also like to win games as well. If Kwame is hurt and we do this trade... Ouch!!! But he's young and he's a big. Maybe if it was an offseason transaction.

what did people ever see in Kwame?

Not a bad deal if Kwame is healthy-

He's a crap shoot as for what he can become- physically, he's a bit bigger/stronger than Nazr.

I doubt Washington can get much more for him than a performing Nazr.

he's a physically gifted player, plain and simple. He's also shown he can do great things at the NBA level. He's immature and has been hurt alot. He's another guy that in 1-2 years from now I can guarentee will be untouchable.

not just no, but hell no. Nazr has proven that with playing time he can be a force in this league. Kwame was given all of that, plus he was featured as the star of that team and failed miserably. His hands are too small, and most of all, low Basketball IQ. Curry, Nene, Dalembert, Wilcox, Chandler are much better than Kwame. Yes, he has a big boddy, but that is deceptive. Don't let that foul you. I would go for those five names that I have mentioned first before consider trading for Kwame. Curry could be a superstar if he plays for another team away from home. The fact that he is from Chicago is hurting him dearly.

thats a pretty low definition of "force" in this league.

I can't believe this, the guy is having a career year, and here you go trading him.

K Brown is no differnet then TT, ooooohhhh so much potential but ooooohhh soooo inconsistant. Please this guy is not a late bloomer, he's a inconsistant player who needs to take his off seasons a lot more serious. At the rate he's going who knows if he'll ever turn into the player Jordan thought he was getting.

Gotta take risks if you want to want to gain anything.

I would do it. In the back of my mind, I'm sure Washington wouldn't. If it was offered, I just don't see how you could reject it. Nazr has been great this year, but how much of it is because Marbury's force feeding him passes 3 feet away?

Yeah.. and Kwame is (TAKING US TO A CHAMPION SHIP). The guy not only has a poor work ethic, he's also hurt a lot, especially for a guy who doesn't play a slew of minutes.

He is just to inconsistant for me, There's 2 centers in the league, thats official( shaq & Ming) after that you have a bunch of so called centers, There's no Robbimsons, Ewings, parish, hakeems.

The game has obviously change. The difference makers are the 2gs, pfs,& scoring point guards. The fact that they brought back Zone defense, and offensive 3 seconds as oppose to the silly illegal defensive is even further proof that the center position isn't a major factor any more.

Kwame might not bring us a championship anytime soon, but can you honestly say Nazr would? It would be a good first step.

guys, come on, I like nazr but lets look at it this way, even with nazr's great play this year, the knicks are 16-14, and that is mostly due to stephs play of late.

Lets say we make the trade, and kwame reaches 80% of his potential over the next few years.. The knicks with the young guys they have now will be a hell of a team, kwame has the ability to dominate, the kid has all the physical skills... we need to think looooong term fellas..
