and will only receive fragmented minutes.

I don't know, but IMHO I would much rather have Chris Wilox starting than KT. Frankly, I have had enough of KT. He's a good player, tough yada yada, but I want something more for my team than mediocre. Im sorry but a reasonable evaluation of his game.

KT hits shots WHEN HE IS WIDE OPEN
KT has no post up game.
KT is rather slow.
KT cannot jump.
KT is an above average defender
KT is a great position rebounder
KT doesnt get to the FL
KT ranks in the bottom 2nd tier of PF stats wise.
KT is tough
Final ranking=6.5 we can do better.

I agree with. I know KT won't get the Knicks a championship and I am willing to go another direction. Wilcox would a nice pick up but I would like the Knicks to give Sweetney more run first. Because I think Sweetney is a 15-10 player this year if given minutes comprable to KT. Wilcox I would take and shift him over to SF he can hit the open shots a lot like James Worthy, thats who he reminds me of when he plays. I guess that is just me though.

I agree with all those point about KT except he is a good defender I think he suck as a defender. All you have to do is check all the PFs that out score him and out shoot him FG wise. I think someone pointed out that opposing PFs shoot 54% against KT is that a good defensive PF. Oh by the way KT has been out scored almost all games by opposing PFs. An dhis double double of the weak type do nothing for me. 11-10 fricken I would rather have a PF that gives me 15-7 than 11-10.

BRIGGS, what do you suggest it would take for the clippers to send him our way? with reason, ofcourse. what would we have to take back? they don't really have any 'bad' contracts that i can think of.

Wilcox is good, he can play center, he did it for the Clippers for a good 15 games in the beginning of this year. He looked good doing it, too.

He would do wonders in a 3 man rotation of Sweetney, Mohammed, Wilcox, coming of the bench for both Mohammed and Sweetney.

We really need to move KT to free up space for Sweetney, his numbers while not looking too good, are actually very good for the minutes he plays. He has even been hitting the jumper recently, well in one game anyways lol.

All we would loose is the pick and roll with Marbury, and maybe if Marbury just drove and kicked every time, we would be better of.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

seeing what wilcox did in kaman absence, I would.

wilcox has proven more than ariza right now. I love the kid, but love doesnt mesh well with smart business decision.

we need size and athletism in the paint. SF are far easier to find.

BTW, we could still offer him the MLE next yr, when sterling will let him walk for nothing...

I also think Ariza is more than 1 year away from really being who he can be if he ever does. That means I think if his game develops it wont be by next season but the season afterwards or never. Young atheletic PF/C prosepct wins over young atheletic SF/SG everytime.

Plus he is averaging 10 and 5 on the season in 20 minutes a game or so. Those are near KT in 36 mpg. LA has 4 centers on their team, whats really good with that. We meed tp pry on of them away somehow, even if they only get 12 minutes a game. we need some 7 foot prospects over here.

I would do KT and Ariza for Wilcox.

A frontline of Nazr, Wilcox and Sweetney would be great! both Wilcox and Nazr are 6'10!!

Eventhough I prefer NENE, Wilcox is more obtainable right now and is a heck of a lot better than kwame, dalembert and curry. He is the Mcdyess we thought we were getting, only much younger at 22 and taller!

Chris Kaman , just got back from being injured and Wilcox did fill in admirably. I guess if his contract is up Clippers owner might not want to pay him. I would give up Ariza for him in a heart beat, but they would probaly want to give us kittles contract too.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

isnt kittles an ending contract soon ? in that case i dont see why they would trade him to us since we already get the best part of the tarde in wilcox.

you're right this is the last year @ 10mil

is there anyone else from the clips that can match KT's 7mil? I know the Nets will make a big push for him with their picks and exemptions

why would the Nets make a big push for Kittles when they're the ones who traded him for those picks & trade exceptions in the first place?

or were you talking about Kurt Thomas? i don't see Isiah making any trades w/NJ to help them out anyway, unless it was in a 3 way trade where the Knicks were getting a younger, more athletic player for the frontcourt (in which case, why wouldn't the Nets just make a straight up trade for that sort of player instead of trading for a guy like KT?)

how about instead of Wilcox we try to get Brand from them? Perhaps the Clippers decide to trim payroll- would a Tim Thomas & Sweetney for Brand work money/talent wise?

the only match we really have is Sweetney, unless they are far enough under the cap to take Vin Baker back. All NY has to offer is cash. The $3mm will pretty much cover Baker's $ next year. Do we have an 06 #1 to give them? I remember the extra #1 for Pho was conditional, so I'm not sure. Aside from that we have Houston's #2 and not much else, but I would do what it takes to get it done. I would DEFINATLY trade the draft rights to our pick for Wilcox and an expiring contract then this offseason.

Brand makes $12 mil this season...you'd have to add in a filler contract from the Clips to make that trade happen like Wang Zhizhi...also, i think the Knicks would have to throw in a future pick to get the Clips to even listen to any offers for Elton Brand, & they may even ask for Ariza to be included in the deal as well...imho, it maybe too much to give up, especially considering Brand is signed until '09 at big bucks...there maybe more affordable options that come along sometime down the road.

what is bad is the clipps dont have bad contarcts to unload. they're pretty thin right now, and the only big money that is paid is : kittles (byebye), brand and magette.

no need to say were naked.
