TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Orlando and New York being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Orlando and New York had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

huh?

this is crazy.

we should keep penny for two reasons:

1. a useful chip next offseason or even to let his $$$ walk.
2. for the playoffs. you guys forget how he picked up the load for shandon last year?

isnt Cato their starting center?
whether he is or not I really don't see it happening for Penny, not this year anyway. He is a backup combo guard. And Bruno? how many minutes wuill he see in Orlando or anywhere else for that matter? If he does it, he should become a hostage negotiator.

Orlando reason is to get money off the books with penny next yr, espcially if the keep playing 500 ball before the trade deadline.

NY reason is to make us a bonifde contender in the eastern conf now.

If anything, Penny gets moved after this season.

You may even see a buy out scenario. We might just have to let some things fall off the books.
