Nene was recovering slowly from injury. That's why his stats were down earlier. He has a lot of potential, though, and I'd love to have him on the Knicks.

I want Nene in NY. he is cheap and young and a big body and a post presence on D and on O. We need Nene real bad. Any idea what Denver would want for Nene?

maybe Camby will be the one who is more realistically attainable if Nene is playing this well? DEN might like to lose his longterm contract, & you know Isiah would love to bring him back to NY.

Camby is too injury prone. He was an amazing player and no one can deny his talent but he was always injured. We need NENE!

Nene isn't a FA until '06 at the earliest (qualifying offer eligible after the 05/06 season)...he's not going anywhere unless the Nuggets can get back a comparably talented young player, or a starting SG that they need...

i think if there's a bigman on that team the Knicks could possibly get, it's Camby, not Nene.

yeah but that still doesn't make up for Laydumb's stupidity. If our team consisted of Nene, Camby and Lampe we'd be very good but that would be 100% rebuilding mode. I don't see that ever happening in New York. We are very lucky to get someone like Marbury though. He saved us from being over the cap with injured players for a decade!
