50/11? Not bad, but I expected a little more from him.

not bad, not bad
man amare is so amazing, he is one of the best examples along with KG as to what can happen with the physically talented "potential" players who come straight out of HS or just one year of college.

On a side note, Steven Hunter has 10 points 5 rebounds 4 blocks and 2 assits not bad at all.

not bad for the knicks, weve only passed over larry bird ricky pierce ron harper latrell sprewell Big Z Ron Artest Amare Stoudemire and Carlos Boozer off the top of my head. Not a bad list hey we have the JYD!

thats the guy the Knicks need. Heck I may even consider trading Crawford for him. Maybe all it'll take is the expiring contracts of Penny and/or TT

Usually top PGs make players better. Amare has made Nash better.

the good news is we have a player in amare that is truly living up to his potential. the bad news, with all talented forwards in the west may be hard for amare in getting allstar votes. right now he has a better chance of making the finals and going championship.

I think Amare could be the best player in the NBA right now. I can think of one guy I would trade him for. He isnt the rebounder of an elite PF[that maybe because he plays next to Shaun Marion?] but no one is even close to his offensive game. He is do far ahead of any other player in this game in terms of offensive effeciency, including Shaq that I would vote him the number 1 player.

he's the most aggressive player in the league and is re-defining his position like hakeem did 10-15 years ago. he's in a great offense that lets him play his game.

kg, duncan

then comes his class - kobe, lebron, amare, dirk

No, he's above those players. The only guy I would consider trading him for would be Lebron James. I think Lebron and Amare are the top of the class, especially because of their age. Lebron has surpassed any wing player and Amare is so far above any other player on the O end that it makes him number 1.

wow - over kg and duncan.

that's a bold statement. i can understand if you're talking about buidling a team from scratch and b/c of his age but right now, man, that's a bold statement.

KG & Duncan are still better players than Amare...Amare could join them soon though in the elite class, but until you've proven yourself in the postseason, you haven't made it to that level.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
