Jammal crawford has when he's playd had a good year so far. he's shown a lot of ability. but i noticed that someone is actually putting up better numbers, is a very similar player and is getting far less publicity. Larry Hughes is having a great season and i wanted 2 ask who ppl here woud rather have between larry hughes or jammal crawford. im not very sure about who id take, probably jammal because i think his potential is higher, but im not sure. so would all of you want?

Give Hughes. before the trade for Crawf, I was one of the perhaps of two Knicks fans who wanted to see Hughes in N.Y. This dude could complement Marb very well, and most of all he is an excellent defender. He can run the point if needs be, and makes great decision with the ball unlike Crawff....

Right now, Hughes is a better all around player. I don't think he would feel right in New York, he actually plays some defense.
I would probably stick with Jamal. He's still a work in progress. He has the talent, he just has to learn some defense and some shot selection.

This is a no brainer.

Hughes puts up more points, assists, rebounds and leads the league in steals at almost 3 a game.

He also has a triple double.

Craw is just a scorer who has yet to fully develop the other parts of his game.

First of all, it's not true that Hughes is getting less publicity. In basketball circles (even in fantasy leagues!) he is getting major props. Washington has surprised everybody this year, Larry Hughes is considered the biggest contributor to their success so far. Aside from Pts, Rbs and Ast... he is a good defender and a steal machine! He doesn't take crazy shots either and shoots a decent pecentage at 44%.

I'll take Hughes over Crawford.

ur rite bout Hughes being a huge part of washington's success, and bout his stats, they r very, very good. But i woudnt say he is getting so much credit for what washington is doing, yes he gets credit, but arenas, and especailly jamison get just as much if not more pub then hughes. i havnt heard much if nething bout the guy but seriously that wasnt really the point of the post. and yes rite now he is better tha crawford at those things but i think crawfords ability level is higher and his future could be 2 be a very specail player, he just needs 2 learn some things and improve but he shows improvement every year and will def continue. so still i hav 2 say i would give crawford a slight edge b/c of his potential, but rite now hughes is porb the better all around player.

no comparison, like killa said this is a no brainer, hughes over crawford in a heartbeat. zards have one of the best backcourts in the league. there are quite a few 2s out there better than crawford but jc has the luxury to grow in our system, they dont.

Hughes has been in the league a couple of seasons longer than Craw. It's taken him a while to find his niche and really find his game in this league. He had a Craw-like rep for quite a while himself. So I think the point is to stick with Craw and work on refining his talent. Look at how many games he's played with us - very few so far.

On an interesting sidenote, Hughes has never apparently developed his skinny body either as he's listed as 6 pounds lighter than Craw at the same height.

i'd stay w/Crawford...i like his fearlessness in taking the final shot & penchant for making them...he just needs to learn how to play more in control at times, but when he's on, he's unstoppable...players like Jamal can take over any game & win them for you...not sure i could say the same for Larry Hughes (even though he's got game & i like him as a player)
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
