Cato is exactly the center we need when healthy...Declerq is hurt and a FA.....Garrity isn't playing.....Hardaway gives them sone depth at 3 positions, especially at 2 guard...

Some variations are the Magic get a conditional first round pick, Add Sweets to the deal and get a first round pick from Orlando back...Myabe include DeShaun Stevenson....these two teams have alot of lateral movement....

Thoughts?

Cato's a very important player on the Magic. He's their best center and he gives them almost 3 blocks a game. NO WAY would they trade him for a mediocre reserve SG like Penny

That would be a nice trade for NY but I dunno about Orlando. Maybe we can get Battie instead of Cato?

Exactly. Horrible move to trade Penny while his value is low. His contract will be extremely valueable come the deadline or the offseason.

the knicks need to keep penny until his retirement... just wait till his contract is up, and renegotiate for the low salary he's really worth... we know that won't happen but damn i'd like to see him retire as a knick... he's valuable and can give you a good 15 a game when he starts...

Not true. Orlando is near tops if not the tops in the league in bpg...

they also give up the most points in the league

they lead the league in blocks because they have 2 really good ones in Cato and Battie. The problem is no one else on the team plays any D. It's like a team of Houstons, marburys and crawfords. At least we have JYD and Ariza
