I was wonder if Houston is really ready to play. He just doesn't seem himself. Houston has to be more aggressive. I realized this guy is not getting any touches. He maybe on the court but he is not getting any touches. Whats the point of having him start if he is not going to get the ball?

When he first came back, he was getting A LOT of touches, and he was doing positive things. It didn't even always have to do with scoring. He was just doing a lot. But he looks like he's having trouble moving or something. I think everything has caught up to Allan.

We most certainly do need the Allan from even a year ago back. Even if it's just 15 PPG. When he's on the floor, and gets a lot of touches, the ball moves around nicely, and everything is spaced out, but I too am wondering how he is really feeling. He's either too hurt to play, or he's simply playing waaaaaaaaay unaggresive.

One good thing. He played Vince Carter pretty decently today on defense.

He also looks like he was limping tonight. The combingation of him and Penny coming off a injury is going to hurt us if Allan is playing hurt.

really? We watched 2 different games cause I saw Vince driving around him almost everytime. He shot his usual 6-18 but thats only cause Vince has shooting problems.

Houston was horrible as was his back up penny.

Timmy played with some fire and RJ can't cover him.

Marbs did his best to find open players, but turnovers and missed shots killed us.

Houston isn't going to get 4 misses before he heats up especially when Crawdog comes back.

I like a craw, jyd, ariza, marbs and sweets second unit, but I like a marbs, nazr, KT, TT and crawdog first unit even better.
all kool aid all the time.

Allan is just in a slump. Didn't really expect something like this after his first few games, but hey, I thought Gore or Keryy would be president. I'm 0 for 3.

If his knee is still bugging him, I hope Lenny atleast cuts down on his minutes.

His knee's gonna bother him the rest of his career. That's what happens after injuries severe enough to require microfracture surgery. I don't think we're gonna get much more out of Houston than what we're currently getting.

I really want Crawford to start but I really hope he doesn't ruin the flow of the offense by hoisting up three pointers whenever, where ever.

Houston is the one who should come off the bench not Jamal because at this point houston is Dell Curry. A shooter who can be very effective off the bench in providing scoring but can't start or play significant minutes because he is a majoy liability in every aspect other than shooting. If it was the Houston of old sure he should start but the Houston of old played through injuries and now he's paying for it. Just like Penny...they're not the same players they once were.

He thought that by resting for another year he would be back at 100% and he clearly is not

Lenny better watch his minutes, or he may get progressively worse. That may be why he played Hardaway so much in his first game back.

You are kidding right? When more than half of the people in the league said he needs surgery, Houston said, no, all he needed time to heal. FINE! According to the doctors we heard on the radio, he would've had a better chance to return to "his older self" with that second surgery which he said he didnt need. To answer the question raised in the thread title, thats what is wrong with Houston. HE HASNT HEALED! Thats my point!

Now, he hasnt fully recovered with all that time. He was slower than ever last night missing shooting 37% from the FG on Vince who barely plays defense. The guy will be lucky if he plays more thna 40 games. Thats what is wrong with Houston. That is my point. It was clear as hell.
