and you don't think his comments motivated the nets to come in to MSG and clean up??

that would have been the perfect quote. He motivated their team without motivating ours.

I think you are wrong. I think the Knicks just played poorly and the Nets played well. The Nets didnt really try and take it to Stephon. They were not really fueled by that statement.

regardless of whether or not it looked like jersey played harder because of the press, ny played flat... you can't rule out that the press has something to do with ny's consistantly inconsistent play.

Its cool for marbs to think it, just not say it!

Stats don't always tellt he whole story. Its wins and losses that speaks volumes!

We know Marbs got the stats, he needs the wins!
