One of the guys who catches my eye, and may be available, is Kareem Rush.
Or, you know, we could always sign Frank Williams.

Would like to have him back, he was good for us and played very good defense. Now, Isiah maybe would just bring him back because, you know, you always need a throw in... (poor Franky...)

I would really like to have Kwame Brown or SARS. Sars would be a perfect fit. I doubt we can get Curry since he is starting to play well.

Briggs- I am not so sure getting Artest is a good move- I mean, can he clean up his act? He's been having more or less the same problme (flagrants, bad behavour) for a while- its not an isolated incident like Sprewell- and even he had his constant problems (contract demands, late arrivals, etc)

There is no doubt that he can be had- perhaps even for less than what you propose. And, we'd probably be one of the few teams who stand a reasonable chance of aquiring him and straightening his head out.

Wow, losing our two drafted youngsters in the same offseason... It may make us better but I don't like it for that. I would like to keep both, or at least one. Its always good to root for a homegrown player...

For starters, give me Curry, Dalembert or Brown if it is possible. One of them could make our team so much better, even more if we still have Nazr.

Now, if thats not possible you always make a pitch for a guy like Swift because who knows how much he will really demand or if he just wants the money or playing to win. After that you can go cheaper and sign Steve Hunter (I don't see his name there but I think he will be a free agent) or a guy like Gadzuric.

(Man, if Curry wanted badly to play again with Crawford...)

Again, trading Sweetney and/or Ariza is....a hard pill to swallow if for just one....but together it's just plain ol' ABSURD. I remember a few months back when a poster put up the "Preposterous Trade Proposal" commerical (great by the way). The above ideas fall squarely in that category so this will be the last time i'll waste my breath on it.....So respectfully to all that care to hear, listen up.

1. At this time, Isiah wouldn't trade both Ariza and Sweetney together and highly unlikely,
seperately (maybe in a few years). If he wanted to do that he would have when Chicago
was offering Curry for Sweetney + whatever. Also....and ya gotta try to remember this
part because it's critical....in the "Real World" loyalty does indeed play a part in business
decisions (i.e. Bush + Chaney, Chaney + Halliburton, Bird + Ainge, Isiah + Aquirre,
Isiah/Aquirre + Marbury, Sweetney & Ariza, etc.). Got It?

2. Wheewwww (takes a deep breath)......okay, here goes....ISIAH is HATED by BIRD and
AINGE. There will NOT be any.....(repeat) NOT BE ANY TRADES between the two
involving ARTEST. Proof of the above, (SHEED to NYC nixed by AINGE, Isiah FIRED
from Pacers, etc). This is not Quantum Physics.... (simple question) Why would Bird
trade Artest to Isiah (whom he unceremoniously FIRED) so that it/Artest/Isiah could
come back to bite him?....IT WON'T HAPPEN. Alright, okay...you sure you got
it.....alright, do you have any questions...no...okay, good....so everybodys clear on
that.....GOOD.

I like Udonis Haslem or Gerald Wallace if we can get one of them for the full MLE. I think Haslem can play SF or PF.

Bird would trade Artest to Isiah if the Knicks were offering the most talent, Bird thought he absolutely had to be rid of Artest and if he thought Artest was a ticking time bomb that would blow up in Isiah's face.

Nope, wouldn't happen. Too much history in this circumstance and logic doesn't apply.

Bottom line!!! Our backcourt is completely locked for yrs to come.. Isaih will be trying to improve the frontcourt area.

It's possible that Ariza and Sweetney will eventually take over @ the 3 and 4 spots as starters but you never know..

I think Isiah will try and pick up young talented defensive type frontcourt players with sound offensive games..
He'll probably be aiming for Eddy Curry or Kwame Brown..
The Future. GO KNICKS!

A 4/5 with size, mad ups, finishing skills, ability run the floor, D, size, strength, big upside. Why would we possibly not want that?
