Who's better right now? Most experts think the Spurs because they're deeper but I think Shaq and Duncan are about equal and Wade is light years ahead of anyone on the Spurs (other than Duncan). Miami's depth is also underrated. EJ is okay and I like Haslem. I'd call the matchup even right now even though most think the Spurs are the team to beat. Your thoughts?

I'd still have to go with San Antonio. Outside of Duncan, they still have Brent Barry, but more significantly, Manu Ginobli and Tony Parker (both of whom I am big fan of).
They have so many scoring options, along with great teamwork and stellar defense.
They're still my pick to win it all.

I would also take the Spurs. Shaq vs Duncan is a wash. Wade is the next best player but Ginobili and Parker offset Wade. I am not in love with Eddie Jones. I don't think you can count on him.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

EJ is very average, mediocre, but Wade is so good that I would take Wade and EJ over Parker and Ginobli if I were starting my own team.

I agree. You take the guy who's phenomenal rather than balancing it out between 2 other players.

Its such a tough choice, if they played a series I would give the edge to whoever had home court advantage, thats how close I feel this matchup is

To me Bruce Bowen is the X factor, I dont think he can completely shut down Wade but Im sure he could contain him and frustrate him
