Okay it is the first game of the new year with our new attitude. This game is a must win. It is important for us to start this month off right and keep the momentum going until the All-Star break.

We shouldn't lose this game so we can't lose it. I hope Penny is ready for about 15-20 minutes of action, because H20 can't guard Vince, even though our team defense is much improved.

They really only have one lopsided matchup which is VC vs. H20.
As long as he shoots his usual 9/23 we can live with that.

Steph has to have a big game because you know J Kidd will be up for this. Kidd doesn't stand a chance against this new Steph (spelled with the superman S).

Our bigs will be very important in this one. KT and Nazzy should both have double-doubles. We should own and I mean own the boards. Nazzy should have a game similar to his game vs. Minny. Steph should be close to triple double numbers again, but with less points.

TT will be an important factor now that he is playing right. He should put up at least 15 on RJ, but I am hoping for 22. If he plays D like he did on Wally we should be fine. RJ is more explosive so our bigs need to help out. We can't give up those backdoor plays (like we did against wolves), because they will be dunks that will energize their team on both ends.

This game should be played like its 3 vs. 5. Their bigs are not good and if we can slow down either RJ or Vince (kidd wont score big on his own) and control the glass we should win this one.

Look for Sweets & Ariza to see some quality time off the bench. Ariza will have a nice defensive challenge. Maybe try some JYD on RJ at different times. Sweets should put up some numbers too. OOH I can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Some hours away from the new year but, anyway...

Happy New Year everyone!!!

Now, Knicks, lets start the 2005 with the right foot and get a big win against a division rival. And its not anyone, its the Nets, who come to the Garden with their "big" acquisition! They are on a win-now mentality (they just lack the wins ) so it should be a great game.

Lets keep the momentum and the good play going! Lets get a big win! Lets celebrate the New Year in a big way!

Blessings to everyone on this New Year!

I for one will be watching this game with a close eye.

I wanna see why in the world we didn't trade to get Vincent Lamar Carter for Crawfish.

Can't you guys see Marbury and Carter and Ariza on a fast break!

Well tommorow will show if NJ with VC are amped about fighting for tri-state area'

I have been watching NJ games everysince VC arrived and unfortunately for them they played against teams with strong frontlines who were much stronger than them.

Shooters to look out for Houston-T.Thomas Buford-Carter

Finishers on the break to look out for Carter-Jefferson Ariza-T.Thomas Marbury.

Should be a classic!
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

He is too injury prone.

I can't think of one team with a weaker frontline

After last season, a season sweep would really feel good.

Oh the Net fans will think they are better no matter what happens tomorrow. ITs like tihs, Net fans are bandwagon fans who dont know anything about basketball. They tend to be fair weather choosing to SOMEWHAT follow the team when they are good and then follow another team when the Nets are bad. Since they are clueless enough into thinking their team has been good since they DRAFTED kidd, they choose not to watch any games and just comment on the Box score. If they lose they will think the Knicks got lucky and if the Nets win they will think, "oh that was expected".

That makes this a must win game!

We shouldn't lose this game so we can't lose it.

killaluv - why so much drama?

This team is a work in progress showing signs of coming together. It is not a steady climb but sometimes a roller coaster..... someting we should enjoy to the fullest. Especially considering what just one year with Isiah has produced.

Enjoy the Ride

MAN STOP HATING! aslong as he doesn't blow up on us tonight

This game means alot. We could be extending a streak and this could become our defining moment, the team gets closer and begins to believe in themselves and play consistently. We will still lose some games we souldn't but we can't right now. We have to make a push. I feel it and I believe it.
