I, for one, love this hustle, heart, determination, energy, passion, etc. This is a NEW YORK KNICK player. I can't see to why Isiah packaged him in a deal for Carter. I mean, I understand you have to add players for fill ins, but my man JYD? Come on. This guy is bleeding orange and blue. If the whole team was filled with Jerome Williams, we would be unstoppable. Please Isiah, don't trade this fine player. He IS NEW YORK KNICKS STYLE.

I like him too but just hustle does not win championshpis. Even tho I did not want Carter, getting a player like Nene or even ELTON BRAND is too good to pass up. If you can package TT or Penny's ending contract with Jerome and get Elton Brand I think u would agree to that too right?

where have you ever read that Isiah was offering up JYD in any trade packages? it was only rumored that TOR was asking for KT, JYD & Sweetney in the Vince Carter trade, which Isiah supposedly turned down. I don't see Isiah trading JYD...he's clearly an impact role player & you need guys like him if you want to win titles...guys who do all the dirty work & never complain about their roles...i love this guy.

If that's true that he turned it down, then that's good. Sorry, I didn't know that Toronto wanted him and that Thomas would not trade that package.

And to answer for the Elton Brand question, yeah I would, but seriously, I would cry because JYD is the heart of this team besides Stephon. If you trade him away, it makes the game much less exciting in my opinion.

who'd we even give up in that deal. Othella Harrington, Dekembe, Frank Williams & Cezary Trybanski.

Here we have folks saying don't trade JYD and last year who would have said "Don't trade Othella!"

Even Frank Williams, who I love, isn't worthy of that kind of praise.
