No offense, but I want Phil Jackson. Lenny is not right for this team. He is a step better than Don Chaney, BUT we need a real leader. Someone who will get off the bench and go to the refs and get in their faces. Not someone laid back. I hope the Knicks go on a losing streak or even by staying .500, I think Lenny will be fired. So as a Knick fan, there's a dilemma. Would you want to stay at .500 and get a new coach? It's better now than late in the season.

You said it man... what other coach could win with the lackluster talent that Phil Jackson has had to work with over the years.

The man is a genius!!!

And just look at how the Lakers are struggling now that Jackson is no longer there.

what are you talking about. phil has the worst substitution patterns and calling time outs in the game. phil is laid back. he is not heavy handed at all

The reasons are wrong but the solution is right.

Phil isnt taking a job this year and even if he came here[which would cost the knicks 10mm per] we still sont have the right personnell to win. Eeven the Pacers without Artest and Miami-IMHO are so far above the Knicks that theyd be lucky to win a game in a series with John Wooden coaching.

or a screamer. That's key for a coach. Gotta let the guys know, through repeated, throat-clearing, high-volume motivational instructions how to play. Only way.

this would be the worst team phil has ever inherited/coached in terms of talent. he doesn't have the best player in the league in any position nor does he have a combination of 2 of the top 5 players in the league. this job is what he would truly be recognized for as a coach.

hiring him makes everybody shut the f' up about coaches b/c there's nobody else out there who has a better resume.

of course it'll probably cost $7mil/year to get him.

i don't care if we get him or not b/c nobody can work miracles with the talent level here but i would definitely like to see what he can do with this team. i think he's lauded way too much for what he's accomplished. he still has the rings to back it up tho so let's see if he can transform a team led by marbury into a title contender.

if isiah does hire phil, i don't expect isiah to hang around too much longer after that.

with phil our defense would be better, and i'm sure the player rotations would be too.

Will Zen make KT faster? Will he give KT a post move?

Will Timmy start playing well all of a sudden?

Problem with Lenny is he rides things that are working....thing is they are working but what is right for the team? Timmy needs time to refocus I guess........time is up on that one already.

KT's jumper is keeping him on the floor.

He needs to establish Sweetney first then counter with KT.....their won't be any rebounds or defense lost. KT hasn't stopped anyone all year.

Timmy needs to be benched. JYD or Ariza should start to start the game off with energy. JYD has brought it apon himself to be the leader on defense. Start him that was the Knicks set a tone defensively....

That's it really.....whoever is the coach needs to see that. A new coach is just gonna bring on a new identity. Zen is a control freak. I don't wanna have that type of ball in NY.
