I dont know what to say... I quit watching midway through the 3rd. This isnt all TT's fault but how many bad starts do the Knicks have to endure before we make a change at the 3? It doesnt matter if its Houston for scoring or JYD for defense, but something has to change there.

Its doesnt help that Dirk goes off but my god Josh Howard with 16 rebounds. This just magnifies our glaring holes at the 3/4 spots on the floor. We get killed their every night on either end of the floor. KT is great against Brian Scalabrine and Kenny Thomas.

I'm frustrated because we dont beat any good teams. I'm sure we will bounce back against Bos tomorrow because they suck.

Just hope we didnt miss out on a shot at Kwame or Dalembert because KT or NAzr were having one of their great weeks.

i left the game at halftime. i couldn't sit there anymore.

our defense is probably the worst i can ever remember. worse than the john mcleod days, worse than the stu jackson days. bob hill was before my time.

a move needs to be made - the problem is that it can't or won't happen until after the season is over.

it's funny b/c we all keep harping on slow and steady improvement yet one loss like this and we all get pissed. i guess we're all human and know what's up but still - out of the 4 home losses, two have been by EXTREME blowouts.

I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch, and I'm still happy with where our team is going, its just that games like this are such downers. We dont beat good teams and thats a scary thing.

TT had a good game today. He was the only Knick that could score in the 1st quarter. I thought he showed some effort going for rebounds later on in he game as well.

I understand your feelings, Fish. I hate the fact that they didn't make an effort because if at least they had worked hard an lost by a smaller margin, you would still feel good because at least they fought. I would still be pissed off at them not defeating a good team at home, but an effort would've made my suffering a little easy to carry. But this game was a complete downer! The second time we give a damn about playing at the Garden and let the other team kill us completely! That's inexcusable! Where's your pride? Where is your supposed "love for NY"? How can you dare to have another pathetic defensive night after this game? Pathetic! Deffinitely no effort tonight! And I hate it because you see so much improvement the whole season, then again you have a terrible game like this...

If they aren't extremely ashamed of themselves, like for letting their home crowd terribly down, and play extremely better in the next games, they deserve to be traded...

Silver... the thing is TT is TERRIFIED of contact. He plays like he's 180 pounds, its unreal. If there is contact its an offensive foul. Finley KILLED him early in the game... heck, all the Mavs did, but we know the other guys are cemented in as starters for awile.

What bothers me is the guys somewhat lack of pride, I would if I were a knicks player guarding dirk, make him work his azz for to breathe, I mean step up to the challenge, dare to be great for one night, against good competition.. I am a fan of Kt and nazr but not for this knicks team, Kt does what 4 other knicks players can do, he can hit jumpers, well that is not what we need, espcially from the 4 spot, we need a beast down low, could you imagine Dirk having to guard a eddy curry or kwame brown down on the other end of the court, everytime down, I guarantee you he would not be running down the other end setting up for 3's.... This is the biggest problem for the knicks, and believe me teams that are getting away with it now, like the suns and sonics, will realize that being a perimeter team will not win you playoff series. The knicks need some sort of force down low, I mean KT and nazr at times give us nothing down there... hitting the occasional jumper is no big deal for our big men, we have guys who can do that.. we need post play!!

it's bad when watching a Knicks game is more excruciating than a final.

don't fool yourselves. this team will do the best and the worst.

Yes, we can win against anybody.
But, we can also loose against anybody.

Some games will be a pleasant surprise, others will be awful to watch.

That's just on game, we're still a work in progress.

I'd rather see them beat boston tomorrow. today was part of the learning processs, at least now, we know where we are.

Couldn't watch it all. Went to bed after they started jacking up 3s in the 3rd.
I really need a win in Boston to get this taste out of my mouth before Christmas.

Dude, you do realize that the suns have a beast down low in Stoudamire who is averaging 25 ppg?

BTW, while NY is scoring 1/2 a point less than the opponent per game
on average, Pheonix is scoring 11.5+ points more than their
opponents per game. Aside from SA (also near 11.5) no other team
in the league is even close.

Seattle and the Suns are gonna continue to play well in the west.

Small ball teams(phoenix-Seattle) against teams with big lineups is an advantage in the western conf , because other teams can't matchup up with them.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Fish- I thought Tiny Tim had one of his better efforts of the season- he was actually the only one in q1 that did anything- he even grabbed rebounds.

The last foul call against him in the first quarter, judged a charge, was bad- Bradley was clearly in the restricted area- he should have had 2 fts. Clearly, his funk has extended into the refs as well.

That said, I might have posted that yes, perhaps Lenny should put JYD in the starting line up and have Tiny Tim off the bench until he works his game right- and to give the starting five a little D inspiration. JYD should have probably started against Dirk, not KT- KT is a good post defender, but is outmatched out on the perimeter. JYD is 1000% better than KT on the perimeter.
god I hope this serves as some kind of wake up call
