I can just imagine the Net fans, all excited for having a "star" like VC finally in the Meadowlands, and have him taken away before he ever plays a game.

If he can play later on, they will do it because, against your wishes, they are taking a win now mode. Surprisingly they are not going to take the rebuilding through draft mentality. Strange...

It seems like they want Kidd around, and got him Carter to make him happy. We'll see if it finally goes down...

That would make all 13 of them finally quit their team... And don't even think about all those bandwagon fans that were ready to call themselves Nets fans just because of Carter. Poor people if that happened...

probably just part of negotiating. Negotiating doesn't end just because two sides have reportedly "agreed" on a deal
