I tried this on the trade checker and it works

NY
Trades KT
gets Diop & Nene

Cleveland trades Diop & Wagner
gets KT

Denver trades Nene and gets Wagner

Cleveland has already offered this trade and I think Knicks said no.
However, if Denver does this, they trade a player who is the same just in different positions.

Nene & Wagner both had good rookie seasons but both lost minutes because of mello and lebron respectively. They both need more minutes which they will get at their new homes. NY and CLE may have to throw in a pick a piece to denver to make it work, but I think it makes sense for everyone.

I don't think it makes sense for Denver. They could get MUCH better for Nene than Wagner.

okay I reworked it.

Knicks trade
KT & Sweets

Get
Nene
Tskitisvilli
Diop

Denver trades
Nene
Tskitisvilli

gets
Wagner
Sweetney

Cleveland trades
Diop & Wagner
get
Kurt Thomas

This is better and maybe still a pick or two, but this is much fairer for denver. We get them a good young prospect in return for nene in sweets. Tskitisvilli probably was gonna get cut but instead they used him to help acquire sweets.

wadduya think?!!?!?!?

I think Denver may look to trade for a better SG rather than draft one. They are in a Win Now mentality, and just traded away 3 picks for KMart. If they would accept(assuming you're talking about second rounders...firsts and they make out like bandits), you jump on this deal, but I really don't see Denver agreeing.

but what about the second trade it gives denver more. I know NY and Cleveland do it but what about Denver does this make some sort of sense for them?

What SG's are out there that they could be looking at.
As I look at it again I can't say NY WOULD do it, because Sweetney is way more developed than Diop and KT is right now better than Nene, although that will probably change by next season. This might be a halfstep backwards to take a step foward. screw this if we lose KT and sweets it needs to be in a trade involving curry, kwame, dalembert and to a lesser extent nene.

I would love to know what teams are offering for KT, because it seems like we can't get a big in return for him unles he is packaged with another player like sweets, Nazzy or JYD.

i dunno if i even like the trade.....
NeNe would be nice to have but Sweetney and Kt? Geez.....

Denver still should try to trade Nene but for a up and coming shooting guard still on the rookie contract.

Wagner is that type guy but he's been injury prone. Plus he's undersized.

Eck, just saw the reworked deal. I would almost rather keep Sweetney than Nene.

LMAO

but seriously, this looks like a trade that is only proposed for the heck of it, I don't think any of the teams benefit by just mixing up the players a bit.
